Le travail a montré comment la création artistique de masques faciaux a été une réelle thérapie psycho-émotionnelle et a permis au personnage de l'œuvre de retrouver son identité. La prothèse maxillo-faciale, à la fois art et science, a permis à de nombreuses gueules cassées une certaine forme de réhabilitation.
