Book excerpt: La maladie d'Alzheimer (MA), qui touche environ 900 000 personnes en France, se manifeste notamment par une atteinte précoce de la mémoire autobiographique. Les caméras portatives ou outils de life-Iogging comptent parmi les rares aides externes de revalidation cognitive pennettant de travailler la mémoire autobiographique antérograde. Cependant, bien que leur efficacité ait été démontrée par de nombreuses recherches, aucune étude n'est retrouvée sur l'utilisation de ces dispositifs dans le cadre d'une prise en soin orthophonique. L'objectif de cette étude est de cerner les attentes des orthophonistes et des patients en termes d'outils de life-logging et de sélectionner un outil de life-Jogging pertinent. Pour cela, nous avons réalisé un inventaire des dispositifs de life-logging disponibles, puis sondé des orthophonistes, des patients atteints de MA et des aidants afin de connaître les critères qui leur semblent les plus importants dans une perspective d'utilisation de caméras portatives. De nombreux outils de life-Jogging ont été recensés. Les orthophonistes interrogés sont intéressés par l'utilisation des caméras portatives en pratique clinique ; l'âge et le sentiment de compétence lié à l'utilisation du numérique influencent l'adhésion des patients et des aidants à ces dispositifs. Les facteurs favorisants et les limites (sentiment de compétences à l'utilisation des nouvelles technologies, troubles mnésiques du patient, implication de l'aidant, etc.) à prendre en compte dans la mise en place d'un outil de life-logging ont également été étudiés. En mettant en perspective les demandes des personnes sondées avec les offres des produits existant sur le marché, certains outils de life-logging, notamment sept applications pour smartphone, semblent donc répondre aux exigences techniques et éthiques d'une réhabilitation de la mémoire autobiographique chez des patients atteints de MA. Il serait à présent intéressant de tester leur efficacité en pratique clinique.
