Elles vivent à 80 % à domicile avec des aidants naturels. Problématique : Quelles sont les représentations et attentes des aidants naturels concernant la prise en charge par le médecin généraliste de la maladie d'Alzheimer ? Etude qualitative. 14 entretiens menés entre Novembre 2017 et Mars 2018 en île de France. Analyse des données selon la théorisation ancrée. Résultats : 1) au début de la maladie : dépistage et orientation vers une équipe spécialisée, reformulation de l'annonce du diagnostic 2) information à la phase d'incertitude diagnostic et du déni de la maladie.3) coordination des différents médecins spécialistes et soignants.4) information sur les traitements existants, les capacités de communication restantes tout au long de la maladie 5) visites à domiciles pour une meilleure coordination des intervenants au domicile et la mise en place d'aides techniques.6) prise en charge jusqu'à un stade évolué de la maladie avec les problématiques de l'institutionnalisation et des soins palliatifs 7) Ecoute du patient et des aidants avec une relation de confiance fondée sur des années de suivi. Conclusion : En plus du rôle attribué par la HAS, les aidants attendent du médecin généraliste une écoute attentive de leurs besoins et de ceux du malade. La confiance dont il bénéficie lui permet de jouer un rôle de facilitateur dans l'acceptation progressive d'aides à domicile et de l'entrée si nécessaire en EHPAD. Si les aidants souhaitent que le médecin généraliste joue un rôle dans le respect de la dignité du patient jusqu'au bout du parcours, ils regrettent que souvent il ne puisse jouer un rôle plus important dans les situations de crises faute de disponibilité
