Book excerpt: Joh. George Klein Sr., son of Jacob Klein and Maria Madgalena, was born 13 Oct 1715 in Germany. He married Dorothea Rebmann, daughter of Conrad Rebmann, in 1737. They emigrated to America in 1738 landing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dorothy died in 1777 and George died in 1783. They had seven children. Their children and descendants have lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and other areas in the United States.
