Book excerpt: The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the degree of job satisfaction the small and medium business employee 2) to study the degree of organizational commitment the small and medium business employee 3) to study the correlation coefficient between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the small and medium business employee 4) to study the influence of job satisfaction affecting organizational commitment of the small and medium business employee. The sampling group was the 550 SME's employees in Phetchabun province. The tool for data collecting was a five rating scale questionnaires. The statistics used in this research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, pearson correlation coefficient and enter multiple regression analysis. The result shows that the degree of job satisfaction the small and medium business employee is overall found to be high ( x = 3.84). The degree of organizational commitment the small and medium business employee is overall found to be high ( x = 3.75). The level of satisfaction of all elements contains a positive correlation towards the organizational commitment, with a statistic significance value of 0.01. Book excerpt: Purpose - The paper aims to analyze the relationship between managers' informal learning and their job satisfaction in Lithuanian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Design/methodology/approach - The methodology of the survey has been developed in respect to the ideas on informal learning and job satisfaction. The questionnaire on informal learning factors was developed by the author. Also, the adapted Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire was used. A representative sample of 173 SMEs managers in Lithuania was surveyed. Findings - The paper reveals the relationship between managers' informal learning and their job satisfaction in Lithuanian SMEs. Informal learning factors not only correlate with but also have an impact on job satisfaction. The survey findings correspond to similar surveys carried out in other countries. Research limitations/implications - The research could be replicated in large organizations as well as in other countries to confirm or deny the relations established in this survey. Practical implications - Understanding and managing informal learning factors can help improve job satisfaction in Lithuanian SMEs. Originality/value - The clarified concept of informal learning is presented. Also, the systematized set of informal learning factors is introduced and tested empirically.

Book excerpt: The Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Sri Lanka has suffered drastically in the past in the North and East as a result of the civil war and T-sunami havoc. The studies have shown that SMEs play a vital role on promoting economy and especially, on reducing poverty. Many studies have been carried out on this topic at international, global and national level. Similar study has not been carried out in the Batticaloa District with special reference to the job satisfaction among entrepreneurs of SMEs. This paper is based on a study of different variables for job satisfaction among entrepreneurs of SMEs in the Batticaloa District. Primary data on the factors of job satisfaction of entrepreneurs were collected and analyzed using various statistical and research tools. SPSS was used to analyze to identify level and correlation of the variables of job satisfaction. It was found that all the factors are positively correlated with job satisfaction of entrepreneurs. It was also noted that suitability and business image have been identified as highly correlating factors with job satisfaction of entrepreneurs and financial benefits have been identified as least correlating factor with job satisfaction of entrepreneurs.

One of the most important breakthroughs is digital transformation, which can help enterprises create a greater competitive advantage. In China, state-owned enterprises are the mainstay of the country's economic development, and their economic power cannot be ignored. In order to seize more opportunities for growth, many state-owned enterprises have also focused on the digital transformation of their companies, and Zhanjiang Cigarette Factory (ZCF) is one of them.Human resource management is an important influence on the digital transformation of an enterprise, and employee job satisfaction is an important component of human resource management. Employees with high levels of job satisfaction can help to enhance the stability and growth of the company. The purpose of this study is to find out whether, and how, the digital transformation of enterprises has a positive impact on employees' job satisfaction. Thus, the influencing factors affecting both digital transformation and employee job satisfaction were analyzed. Relevant data were then collected from ZCF employees by means of questionnaires and the interrelationships between different factors were analyzed by employing regression analysis and other methods to assess the impact of corporate digital transformation on employee job satisfaction.The results of hypothesis testing show that the digital transformation of top management and technological innovation have significant positive effects on all factors that affect employee job satisfaction. In addition, this study also assessed the importance of demographic factors and found that marital status can have a significant positive impact on employees' work environment, and age was found to have a significant negative impact on employees' work-life balance. The research shows that enterprise digital transformation can have a positive impact on employee job satisfaction.
