Setiap kali berselisih de­ngan orang-orang kampung, Sitah tidak lupa me­nyapa mesra. Tangannya masih menggenggam erat sebuah bung­kusan be­reben merah. Dia menuju ke bilik ber­langsir ungu muda yang terhias cantik. Hatinya tidak sabar-sabar lagi untuk me­nemui orang yang sangat dirindui. Langkah Sitah semakin lebar.

Yet Indonesia has already produced a highly individual, lyric poetry that s in many ways unusual.
