Por meio da abordagem regional, a obra mergulha ao norte do Rio Grande do Sul, de modo a mapear a instalação da Justiça do Trabalho na cidade de Passo Fundo em fins da década de 1950 e início da década de 1960. Tal propositura também irá elencar uma breve amostragem de algumas lides judiciais trabalhistas em grau de acórdão, que retratam os primeiros anos daquela jurisdição.

The extension of a collective agreement generalises the terms and conditions of employment, agreed between organised firms and workers, represented through their association(s) and union(s), to the non-organised firms within a sector, occupation or territory. The collection of chapters in this volume are about the extension of collective agreements as an act of public policy.
