Book The Harlot Demon Unveiled

Download or read book The Harlot Demon Unveiled written by Maxine Malcolm and published by Author House. This book was released on 2011-06-28 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Harlot Demon Unveiled is a stunning revelation of the harlot spirit, a principality of the forces of darkness; revealed as the death angel, the spirit of the great whore of Revelation 17,18, & 19 I believe I have been divinely chosen in this last hour to manifest and declare the name of the Sovereign Yahweh and his son Yahshua. To declare that Yahweh rules in all heaven and earth; that He still relates to mankind and whosoever will seek him with all their heart, He will reveal to them the mysteries of the gospel (an abundance of truth). To reveal the hidden force and agenda of Satan the enemy of or souls, and the evil spirits that are influencing our loved ones to murder, commit suicide, and all types of hateful crimes against each other. The word of Yahweh warns us not to be ignorant of Satan's devices "lest he get an advantage over us." (see, II Corinthians 2:11) Yahweh declares that His people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. (see, Hosea 4:6) (Proverbs 7:24-27) Harken unto Me now therefore o ye children and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray on her paths. For she has cast down many wounded; Yea, many strong men have been slain by her. (The harlot demon) Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. My earnest desire is that through the revelation of the Holy Scripture and the disclosure of some if my personal experiences the reader will be transformed by the wealth of knowledge and truth. Yahweh sent his word and healed them and delivered them from all their destructions. (see. Psalms 107:20)

This growth overwhelmingly takes place outside of the West, and women make up 75 percent of the membership. The contributors to Spirit on the Move examine Pentecostalism's appeal to black women worldwide and the ways it provides them with a source of community and access to power. Exploring a range of topics, from Neo-Pentecostal churches in Ghana that help women challenge gender norms to evangelical gospel musicians in Brazil, the contributors show how Pentecostalism helps black women draw attention to and seek remediation from the violence and injustices brought on by civil war, capitalist exploitation, racism, and the failures of the state. In fleshing out the experiences, theologies, and innovations of black women Pentecostals, the contributors show how Pentecostal belief and its various practices reflect the movement's complexity, reach, and adaptability to specific cultural and political formations. Contributors. Paula Aymer, John Burdick, Judith Casselberry, Deidre Helen Crumbley, Elizabeth McAlister, Laura Premack, Elizabeth A. Pritchard, Jane Soothill, Linda van de Kamp

Book Revelation to John S Apocalypse Unveiled and Revealed

Download or read book Revelation to John S Apocalypse Unveiled and Revealed written by Jim Taylor and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2017-02-07 with total page 213 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There are many people, even Christians, who will not read Johns revelation letter for two reasons. First, they dont believe that it can be understood. Second, they are terrified of even thinking about reading of the deadly judgments of God that Johns revelation letter portraysthat is, the appalling plagues, famines, wars, and natural disasters that Johns letter discloses as having been pronounced against this present evil world, and they dont want to be any part of that, nor do they even want to be reminded of those dreadful things that they think are going to happen. Such is so sad, so very sad! One of the purposes of this book is to alleviate that fear completely, and to replace it by making the reading of Johns revelation letter a time of comfort and encouragement. That shall all be accomplished by illustrating how the deadly forces of destruction that John described in his revelation letter are not decreed against the Christiansthey will never fall upon Gods churchbut rather, they are in fact, the very powers of God that protect his church, shelter his children, and defend the Christian faith. All of that can be established by comparing the spiritual war that John witnessed in heaven with the carnal war that was fought between the Roman Empire and the church. That comparison is not difficult to establish, because both of those wars were actually the one and the same war. Once that correlation has been confirmed, Revelation becomes a letter of comfort and security, and a letter that replaces fear with hope. Another reason that even Christians will not read Johns revelation letter is because they do not think that it can be understood because it is so complicated, but God does not put books in his Bible that cannot be understood. Johns revelation letter can be understood, and that is the other purpose of this book, to make it understandable.

Download or read book Spirited Things written by Paul Christopher Johnson and published by University of Chicago Press. This book was released on 2014-05-07 with total page 351 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The word “possession” is anything but transparent, especially as it developed in the context of the African Americas. There it referred variously to spirits, material goods, and people. It served as a watershed term marking both transactions in which people were made into things—via slavery—and ritual events by which the thingification of people was revised. In Spirited Things, Paul Christopher Johnson gathers together essays by leading anthropologists in the Americas that reopen the concept of possession on these two fronts in order to examine the relationship between African religions in the Atlantic and the economies that have historically shaped—and continue to shape—the cultures that practice them. Exploring the way spirit possessions were framed both by material things—including plantations, the Catholic church, the sea, and the phonograph—as well as by the legacy of slavery, they offer a powerful new way of understanding the Atlantic world.

Book Jezebel s Puppets

    Book Details:
  • Author : Jennifer LeClaire
  • Publisher : Charisma Media
  • Release : 2016
  • ISBN : 1629986224
  • Pages : 253 pages

Download or read book Jezebel s Puppets written by Jennifer LeClaire and published by Charisma Media. This book was released on 2016 with total page 253 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many charismatic Christians are familiar with the biblical character of Jezebel, yet they do not know the demonic spirit by that name that still wreaks havoc today. The Jezebel spirit characterizes anyone who acts in the same manner as Jezebel did, engaging in immorality, idolatry, false teaching and unrepentant sin. Its manifestations are conniving and destructive, dwelling in she who desires to have her way, no matter who is destroyed in the process. You can't defeat what you can't see. While most people are hyper-focused on Jezebel--and are basing their warfare on a misunderstanding of what Jezebel really is--fewer understand the workings of Jezebel's demonic partners in crime. The spirit of Jezebel couldn't execute all its wicked plots without the spirits of Ahab, the false prophets and the eunuchs. This book will fully expose this destructive team's plan, teaching readers how to discern each spirit and defeat them

Book Insights from Reading the Bible with the Poor

Download or read book Insights from Reading the Bible with the Poor written by Crystal L. Hall and published by Fortress Press. This book was released on 2019-10-01 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Insights from Reading the Bible with the Poor provides a spirited introduction to methodologies and strategies for reading the Bible "from below"--from the back of what used to be church sanctuaries, from basements, from sidewalks. Drawing on the lineage of various methods of reading the Bible with the poor, the book invites poverty and biblical study into dialogue with real-world organizing to seek justice for those most often treated as "Other." The reading process occurs among the intersections of the "hermeneutical triangle" of Reality, the Bible, and Community. This book is for anyone curious about how to use the Bible as a resource for liberation. It is for faith leaders and community organizers, as much as it is for biblical scholars, because it draws on experiences at the intersections of academia, the Church and communities of organized struggle. It is written with an eye toward praxis, as the author shares from her own experience with the hope that space will be created for others to reflect on their own contexts.

Book Pretense Unveiled

Book excerpt: Pretense Unveiled is a true account of the emotional, physical, and sexual abuse that eight children endured during the late 1950s70s, told through the eyes of the oldest girl, Bella Lorne. Before any substantial healing took place in her own life, she faced many years of an abusive marriage to Jimmie Gore. Mental and physical abuse plagued the eleven-year union and was made worse by the adoption of a foreign child who got caught in the web. Determination to rescue her six smaller siblings from the pedophilia and violence constantly compelled her. Ever aware of Gods abiding grace, she conquered mountains and valleys but only after stepping boldly into the truth of Gods Word. First, though, there were nightmares to face. Would the adopted daughter ever be honest or pure? Would Jimmie ever grow up? Bella learned the hardest way possible that survival depended on truth rather than pretense.
