The contribution of this paper is to present different intrusion detection architectures, explains their behaviour and compare them. Furthermore it is shown how game theory can be used to improve performance of intrusion detection.

Even though ad hoc networks have emerged to be attractive and they hold great promises for our future, there are several challenges that need to be addressed.
