Im heutigen Sprachgebrauch findet man zunehmend die Verwendung des Begriffs der Inklusion, sodass man den Eindruck bekommen könnte, Integration mit all seinen Vorstellungen und Forderungen würde zukünftig von diesem abgelöst werden und das, obwohl sich Pädagogen bis heute nicht für eine einheitliche Definition und Realisierung von Integrationspädagogik entscheiden konnten. Die Autoren Andreas Hinz und Georg Feuser haben sich ausführlich mit dem Thema der Integration auseinandergesetzt. Was die Inklusionspädagogik beinhaltet, wurde von Hinz zusätzlich betrachtet. Die Verschiedenheit der mit diesen Begriffen verbundenen Ziele und Forderungen sollen nun Gegenstand der vorliegenden Hausarbeit sein. Zunächst werden Merkmale, Umsetzung und daraus resultierende Probleme der Integration nach dem Verständnis von Hinz aufgezeigt, bevor im Anschluss seine Gedanken zum Inklusionsbegriff vorgestellt werden. Was Feuser unter dem Begriff der Integration versteht, leitet das nachfolgende Kapitel ein. Der Vorstellung seiner Definition folgt schließlich die Erörterung der sich daraus ergebenen Merkmale. Um die von ihm dargestellte Integration erfolgreich in die Praxis umsetzen zu können, bedarf es einiger grundlegender Rahmenbedingungen, auf deren Darstellung in diesem Zusammenhang nicht verzichtet werden kann. Wie bereits Hinz beanstandet auch Feuser die gegenwärtige Realisierung integrativer Pädagogik in der Institution Schule. Zu diesem Zweck werden ausgewählte Aspekte beider Autoren miteinander verglichen. Die daraus abgeleiteten Schlussfolgerungen liefern wichtige der Antwort dienende Erkenntnisse. Aus Vereinfachungsgründen wird in der vorliegenden Hausarbeit nur die männliche Form verwendet.

Tracing the historical roots and persistence of eugenics in the United States, Nancy Ordover explores the political and cultural climate that has endowed these campaigns with mass appeal and scientific legitimacy.
