Le foncier est la principale contrainte de production en zone urbaine tandis qu'en zones p riurbaine et rurale, la contrainte majeure est l'acc s aux intrants agricoles. Les pesticides les plus utilis s sont Les carbonates et thiocarbonates (34,48%), les pyr throїdes de synth se et formulations non class es ont aussi t r pertori s (17,24%) de m me que des organochlor s (3,45%). Les mauvais proc d s d'utilisation des pesticides, le manque de connaissances techniques et de mat riel de manipulation de ces produits sont les principaux facteurs de risques pour l'environnement et la sant .
