It goes back to the day I was born and my childhood days growing up, days with my parents and living in a chicken house while my dad built a small three-room house for us to live in. Also, the book talks about me being bullied in school. I lived with my grandparents and my aunt on their farm in California for a while when I was a teenager. My aunt is one year and nine months older than me, and this also tells of the fun we had and the mischievous things that we did. This is telling the way things were growing up in my time, now called "the old-fashioned" days-houses, cars, games, and how kids made their own fun. I got married and had my own family, and time went on to be happy times. There were also heartaches that the Lord helped me through and healing, different places where the Lord intervened and spoke to me in many ways. I moved to Texas for eleven years and, later, on a ranch in South Dakota, then later, back to Ohio. I needed to support myself, and I started hauling Amish people, and I had different experiences with them. That was another fun time in my day. The best is yet to come! In the pages of this book, I think you will laugh, cry, and most of all, be blessed.

Book excerpt: The complex notion of "rasa," as understood by Javanese musicians, refers to a combination of various qualities, including: taste, feeling, affect, mood, sense, inner meaning, a faculty of knowing intuitively, and deep understanding. This leaves us with a number of questions: how is rasa expressed musically? Who or what has rasa, and what sorts of musical, psychological, perceptual, and sociological distinctions enter into this determination? How is the vocabulary of rasa structured, and what does this tell us about traditional Javanese music and aesthetics? In this first book on the subject, Rasa provides an entry into Javanese music as it is conceived by the people who know the tradition best: the musicians themselves. In one of the most thorough explorations of local aesthetics to date, author Marc Benamou argues that musical meaning is above all connotative - hence, not only learned, but learnable. The collapse of 54 years of Liberal Democratic Party rule and the advent of a new Democratic Party of Japan raises the question of whether the Fukuda Doctrine is still relevant as a framework to analyse Tokyo's policy and behaviour towards Southeast Asia. There are five types of fundamental conflicts that can be used to categorize instances of violence. As many as 65 percent of the conflicts were caused by religious/faith interpretation. The nature of the post-reform conflict is distinctive. Conflicts between communities were more primal or communal. The nature of this conflict differed from that of the New Order era, which was marked by discrimination and ideological feuding. The Denny JA Foundation identified the five worst discrimination cases from five regions.
