The main finding of this research was that people crave acceptance by whatever group they choose to belong to. Based on the conclusions of this research study, the researcher’s recommendations are the following: This study provides evidence that airplane accidents are indeed survivable and passengers can expect to survive crashes more times than not. In general, human beings crave acceptance by whatever group they choose to belong to, hence, the airlines key objective should be to make the passengers feel that they are really part of the “team.” In addition, as group acceptance is a powerful motivator, any presentation of flight safety should be casted by role models who can influence the public.
