Book excerpt: La directivité d'une source sonore intervient dans de nombreuses applications en acoustique, allant de la compréhension des phénomènes physiques aéro-acoustiques jusqu'à la reproduction sonore spatialisée. Pour estimer expérimentalement cette signature spatiale, il est d'usage de déployer les microphones de sorte à englober partiellement ou totalement les sources. Le rayonnement acoustique est ainsi capté dans toutes les directions de l'espace. Sur ce principe, nous proposons dans ce manuscrit le développement d'un réseau microphonique 3D de grandes dimensions. L'antenne baptisée MODO ("Les Murs Ont Des Oreilles") comprend un total de 1024 MEMS digitaux, répartis sur les murs et les parois d'une salle rectangulaire classique. Pour localiser les sources acoustiques et caractériser leur directivité, nous résolvons le problème inverse associé sous contrainte de parcimonie structurée. La méthode choisie exploite le faible nombre de sources dans la salle, autorisant une représentation parcimonieuse du champ sonore mesuré. Le formalisme des harmoniques sphériques est utilisé pour décomposer efficacement la directivité des sources et les composantes élémentaires de rayonnement qui la compose. Les trajets de propagation acoustique sont modélisés via l'intégration des fonctions de transfert de la salle, qui sont synthétisées grâce au principe des antennes virtuelles. Nous validons la méthode de caractérisation proposée sur des sources directives connues, dont la directivité est étalonnée au préalable à l'aide d'une antenne sphérique d'ordre élevé.

Book excerpt: Dans les salles, la localisation de sources acoustiques via des réseaux de microphones distribués est un problème complexe du fait de la réverbération et des nombreux obstacles à la propagation sonore. Les principales techniques d'imagerie acoustique comme la formation de voies, efficaces en champ libre, ne permettent plus d'obtenir une estimation fiable de la position des sources. De nouvelles approches doivent donc être explorées. Lorsqu'aucune information n'est disponible sur le milieu de propagation, nous nous fondons dans ce manuscrit sur une technique d'approximation des solutions de l'équation de Helmholtz consistant à modéliser le champ réverbéré comme une combinaison linéaire de fonctions harmoniques. Ainsi, l'onde directe provenant des sources est isolée. Ces dernières sont alors localisées par des méthodes de régularisation parcimonieuse. Nous validons cette approche numériquement et expérimentalement. Afin de réduire le nombre de microphones nécessaires, nous introduisons le concept de mesures virtuelles pour prendre en compte partiellement la géométrie de la pièce. Ensuite, nous proposons une méthode de déréverbération "semi-aveugle" fondée sur l'estimation des fonctions de Green par corrélation du champ. Le déploiement des réseaux dans les milieux réverbérants pose des problèmes de calibration. Nous proposons deux approches complémentaires fondées sur les corrélations temporelles du champ réverbéré et l'interpolation des modes propres du milieu pour estimer le positionnement des microphones. Enfin nous proposons une approche originale fondée sur les résultats précédents pour estimer la forme d'une membrane à partir de quelques mesures acoustiques.

The volume aims to fill this gap by studying dynamic processes in the lexicon – understood in a wide sense as not being necessarily limited to the word level – by bringing together approaches directed to morphological productivity as well as approaches analyzing general types of lexical innovation and the role of discourse-related factors. The papers deal with ongoing changes as well as with historical processes of change in different languages and reflect on patterns and specific subtypes of lexical innovation as well as on their external conditions and the speakers’ motivations for innovating. Moreover, the diffusion and conventionalization of innovations will be addressed. In this way, the volume contributes to understanding the complex interplay of structural, cognitive and functional factors in the lexicon as a highly dynamic domain.
