Book Hold Your Head up No More Tears

Download or read book Hold Your Head up No More Tears written by Ollie Johnson and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2022-08-01 with total page 57 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ollie Johnson wrote this book hoping she could help someone who have lost a child. Tyrone was a special child. His mind was far beyond his eight years. Ollie didn't know so many people had heard about this little brave boy. People would come to the door and just pass gifts for him. He was so special. All the times he was in the hospital, he wouldn't let the nurses do anything. He would say my mother and my sister will bathe me. He passed at home, when they could not help him anymore. Ollie said she will take him home and take care of him. The doctor always explained to him what was happening to him. Tyrone seemed to understand what they were talking about. He loved church. He wanted to be baptize, so they let him. Tyrone told Ollie he wouldn't be with her when he becomes an adult. His dad was so fond of him. He was born ten and a half years after Ollie's last child was born. During Tyrone's last days, they had a nurse coming in. He told her, "You can change my bed and dress me." This was Sunday. His doctor on Friday had called and told them to go and make plans for his funeral and that she would be there on Monday. Tyrone died on Sunday with lots of people and family there. In Psalm 127:3aEUR"5, it is said children are too often seen as liabilities rather than assets, but the bible called children "an heritage of the Lord," a reward. We can learn valuable lesson from their inquisitive minds and trusting spirit. The person Ollie is today is because of the time God loan Tyrone to her. As he was passing, he looked at her and said, "Hold your head up, no more tears." He closed his eyes, and he was gone.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the next chapter of my book will be detailed steps on everything that will occur during the preparation of what will happen after the wedding. As she prepares for the wedding, she designs the perfect wedding gown. This is what will happen in the novel. As with the book of poems, it was a combination of events that had happened in the imagination of my mind. The book of poems has inspired me to continue to write and create my thoughts on how I will like my audience to see my work. The time that I have put into this book has not been an overnight experience. It has been a long road and some writer’s block, but it has been rewarding. When I first started writing, I never imagined that I will someday become an author. I had many sleepless nights, but writing this book of poems has given me the joy of being able to express my feelings and share them with the world. All kinds of poems and novels were created. By the way, I decided to prove that poems do not necessarily have to have rhythm but that it can be expressed with understanding. If you know what you want and how you want to inspire yourself, then it will inspire others to want that encouragement. I work so hard to put my words into something that others can relate to. This book has inspired me to continue to write more and more. I hope that by the time my audience read this, it will help them pursue their dreams. When I received the news about my manuscript, I thanked God for bringing me this far and never leaving me. I also thank my husband for encouraging me to finish. Thank you, Ricky, for the moral support. I hope you all enjoy this book.

Book excerpt: In olden time, in the land of Punjab, lived a widowed wealthy man by the name of Misra in his vast farm with his three daughters Mahudri, Ashwaria and Sonam. The farm was run by a loyal farmer called Abed Khan. Abed lived with his wife and his three sons Sharu, Salman and Fawad in a nearby village. They all lived in a small mud-brick cottage. Each season after harvest Abed drove the wagons to the market to sell the crops. In one of these trips to the market, the bandit Agni and his brother Ramesh with their gang attacked the convoy and killed Abed and the farmers driving the other wagons. Abeds sons swore to avenge their fathers death. The three brothers replaced their father and took care of the farm. They fell in love with Misras daughters. Brothers Khan asked Misra for his daughters hand in marriage but he refused claiming that they were poor and his daughters must marry rich men of their high status. Mahudri the big sister was coerced to marry a sadist drunkard who belonged to a big family in the region. He tortured her physically and mentally and ruined her life. The two other sisters rejected arranged marriage and opposed their father because they loved Sharus brothers. Fearing his daughters might run away with their lovers and marry men of lower status, Misra kicked the brothers out of the farm. The brothers left the farm and lived in their clay hut in their village. Agni the bandit and his brother Ramesh raided the farm. The farm was burned to the ground. Farmers were killed and women abducted and raped. Mahudris vicious husband was killed during the rade. Misras two daughters Sonam and Ashwaria were abducted by Agni and Ramesh. The girls were taken to the bandits hideout home where they were beaten and raped. Misra ran to brothers Khan asking for help. They came to his rescue. They saved the two girls and returned them safe home. They rebuilt the ruined farm, then launched a terrible war against the bandits, killed Agni and Ramesh, and restored peace. The brothers Khan married the three girls and all lived happily ever after.

Book excerpt: A riches to rags cowboy. A hardened cowgirl. The gunshot that erases all doubt. Laura Warner knows nothing but horses. Her entire life has been lived on a ranch. It’s her love, her dream, and aside from the love of her life, Quentin, it’s the only thing that she ever thinks about. But when tragedy strikes at Kelsey Ranch, Laura is left to care for the horses and the land with the help of her siblings. Years later, Laura feels content with life, but when a gunshot blasts only days after she has to make a difficult decision, Laura learns that everything happens for a reason…and it doesn’t always lead to more hardship…sometimes it leads to happiness. But can she convince herself that this is possible? Grayson Thomas is an out of work lowlife, who just happens to have world class siblings that drag him out of his rut days after he loses everything, or gives everything up, depending on one’s perspective. When he makes the decision to flee from El Paso and move to Huttonville, just outside of Dallas, his brothers give him their thumbs up. Grayson has no idea that he’s about to step into the world that he does, and when a gunshot blasts on his second day in Huttonville, he’s left wondering if he should make tire tracks back to El Paso, or stay in Huttonville. When Laura’s face becomes a staple in Grayson’s life, what was once a demon craving becomes a distant memory. What he once worked hard for and lost soon becomes something that he may have again. Things that once brought him to the edges of demise, become obliterated and exist only in random nightmares. Grayson’s tough exterior is softened through Laura’s honest and thoughtful words, and Laura sees life in a new light, and learns to laugh and have fun again with someone that isn’t family. But is this enough? Can two people who have been through so much, lost everything and worked hard to gain it back, learn to trust enough to let their guard down and see life and love for what it is? Short answer, yes. They both do. But just when they do, someone who has been watching from afar swoops in and threatens to take everything. Can they survive yet another tragedy…and more important, will they have to? This is a book about survival and love. In that order. This series is the start of a huge helping of feels.
