We shall read further of great men whose whole thoughts and energies were spent in urging people to think noble thoughts and to lead unselfish lives. While reading of these leaders of past times, we will choose only those who were good and true to be our heroes, despising all those who were mean, or selfish, or cruel. Originally published in 1914.
