Adán, el protagonista del segundo drama, Esplendor de paternidad, es un puro exponente de humanidad. Es el padre que engendra y que permanece, sin embargo, en soledad, porque su paternidad no logra amar plenamente. La plenitud del amor del padre arraiga en la verdad primigenia de su ser hijo. De modo que sólo sumergiéndose en el misterio de la suprema paternidad divina, puede alcanzar Adán el amor y hacerse así padre que ama. La Madre, en la parte final del drama, constituye la síntesis, la unidad de los diferentes elementos de la obra. En ella, Adán se encuentra a sí mismo. La irradiación de la paternidad pasa a través de la Mujer, actúa a través de su maternidad. En ella se unen el padre y el hijo, porque es, al tiempo, Esposa y Madre.
