Book He Loved Me Through It All

Download or read book He Loved Me Through It All written by L. A. Davis and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2012-04 with total page 364 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is my testimony after reading this book in one setting: With intent, intensity and integrity LaCretia wrote this book and it is indeed a page turner. Even though I know at least seventy percent of her testimony because I was a personal witness to it and knew most of the family and friends that she graciously changed their names to protect; I honestly don't think they would want to be protected. I think that they would be as I am, so Godly proud of LaCretia for telling her story honestly, deeply, passionately, and beautifully. She is more than transparent in her sharing; completely exposed and tremendously truthful about her inner feelings and painful journey. She shares her vulnerabilities in such a way that you find yourself saying, "I should be so courageously honest about my own addictions." I want this book to get into the hands of women from all walks of life because I know somewhere between these lines they will find their "lonely, loveless, painful, hopeful, vulnerable, truthful, longing, and most of all they will like LaCretia come to know that God's love "without condemnation" is available to them as well. My prayer is that wherever each woman finds her state in life to be while reading this book, she will receive the message of unfailing love and receive the resolve to trust God with her pain and her plans. Great job LaCretia, and awesome pen. Get this book into the hands of women who need it NOW.

Book And Through It All HE KEPT ME

Download or read book And Through It All HE KEPT ME written by Betty Bishop-Chambers and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-12-15 with total page 73 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I am humbled to know, experience, and continue to experience some of the most amazing, extraordinary, awesome, unexpected ways God answers prayers when we call to him. We must call on the Lord first because he knows everything, and he sees everything. He knows the who, what, when, where, why, and how to get things to us when we need them. When I was in need of an immediate answer from the Lord, I said to the Lord, "Lord, don't let me lose mind." He stepped in right at that moment. A calmness came over me, and nothing fazed me after that in this instance--even in the simple things such as the Lord saying to me "Look in your pocketbook" when I asked him, "Lord where is my debit card?" The Lord will give you peace and quiet, along with sweet sleep in the middle of loud music, cussing, talking aloud, just by asking him for it. When someone or anyone who has been resentful toward you tells you they want to talk to you about something, and you don't know what they are going to say nor do you know what to say, ask the Lord, and he will give you his words and shut them down and may cause others to fall asleep. God can also give you remarkable dreams, such as his coming from the east, and you know it's true because it lines up with his word. When the Lord spoke to me while I was on my knees in prayer, he said, "I'll be at your side, instructing you, leading you, and guiding you" and did just what he said without speaking another word to me in that situation. God has never broken a promise, and he never will. Lord, thank you for your grace and mercy, your love and kindness. I am so grateful, truly grateful.

Book excerpt: Life brings its share of problems and needs. There are times when the church looks upon its leaders as if they have no problems, but leaders are far from exempt from difficulties. Author J. D. Miera Martinez has written Through It All to offer his thoughts on ministering to leaders and pastors. Some of the problems leaders face will cause them to analyze and reevaluate their spiritual callings. Only those leaders truly called to this spiritual life will endure this process of reevaluation to become Gods vessels. On a deeper level, Martinez wonders why bad things sometimes happen to good people. There are people who are good and have a stronger spiritual life, but are plagued with bad thingsdeath, diseases, and misfortunesthat have become part of their everyday lives. Martinez examines his own life in Through It All as he searches for its spiritual meaning. He has come to the conclusion that the Scripture, In the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world, directs his life and has helped him to build the life that he was meant to liveserving God and bringing the word and love of God to those around him.

Book Through It All I m Still Standing

Download or read book Through It All I m Still Standing written by Towanna Hogue and published by Towanna Hogue. This book was released on 2020-07-28 with total page 246 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Through It All I’m Still Standing is a story about experiencing love, trials, tribulations, abuse, loss, strength, endurance, faith, triumphs, and deliverance. It’s about feeling like all hope is lost but remembering to have faith because there is a God that will cover you and see you through—remembering that he will make a way out of no way as long as you are patient and have faith. It might not be when you want it, but he is always on time. I share similar personal experiences of surviving several challenges, including marriage, divorce, cancer, loss of loved ones, and more. Through It All I’m Still Standing is a self-help book that aims to bring awareness to mental illnesses, such as depression, PTSD, anxiety, and narcissistic personality disorder. I also wanted to discuss the many forms of abuse that are sometimes minimized but are just as bad as any other form of abuse, such as emotional, verbal, and financial abuse. My hope is to help people in similar situations and their families to deal with the effects of the unfortunate phenomena. My goal is to banish the misconceptions of mental health and to overcome the stigma of it as well as seeking the help needed. This book is designed to give hope from the first sight, with the use of the yellow lotus flower on the book cover symbolizing personal growth. The yellow lotus is an analogy of how it grows in deep mud, far away from the sun, but eventually reaches the light and becomes the most beautiful flower ever. Never allow anyone to ever make you feel less than. Always know your worth and practice more self-love. Through It All I’m Still Standing, and you will too!

This book was released on 2010-04 with total page 114 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the compelling memoir Who Will Wipe My Tears Away?, Earlina Gilford-Weaver tells the story of how she survived childhood sexual abuse and was later saved by God. Earlina was nine years old when she was first sexually abused by uncles who were entrusted to care for her, but instead, robbed her of her innocence. Raised by an emotionally-distant mother and an overwhelmed grandmother, Earlina's journey through childhood became agonizing. She relays how she dealt with her internal pain by stealing, lying, and running away eventually becoming a ward of the state. After she was moved from group homes to foster care where she would stay with over twenty different families, Earlina was once again sexually molested by the males who surrounded her. All the while, Earlina would continually ask herself the same question: Why isn't God wiping my tears away? It would not be until much later when Earlina walked into a church on her birthday that she would realize God had been by her side all along. Throughout Earlina's heartbreaking story is an unforgettable message that through it all, loving yourself no matter what others have done to you is the key to surviving even the worst of circumstances.
