Under the authority of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, owners or operators of facilities that manufacture, process or otherwise use one or more of the specified substances under prescribed conditions are required to report to the NPRI. This document enables facility owners or operators to review the NPRI reporting criteria and determine if they are required to report the NPRI for the current year. It also provides guidance for completing the reporting form and filing a report with Environment Canada.
