I capitoli dall'1 all'8 di questa guida corrispondono alle otto sezioni della EN 1991-1-4 e la sequenza di numerazione di questi capitoli rispecchia i numeri delle sezioni della EN, mentre il Capitolo 9 corrisponde ai sei allegati. Inoltre, i numeri dei paragrafi pertinenti della EN 1991-1-4 sono riportati a margine delle corrispondenti parti di commento. La traduzione è arricchita da alcune note di comparazione con le NTC2008 e con il NAD italiano.

Theses assumptions allow a great simplification in structural analysis and design-but they neglect the true behavior of joints.
