Actualmente se realizan intercambios anuales de auxiliares de conversación con Alemania, Australia, Austria, Bélgica, Bulgaria, Canadá, China, Estados Unidos, Filipinas, Fiyi, Francia, Hungría, Irlanda, Italia, Luxemburgo, Malta, Marruecos, Noruega, Nueva Zelanda, Países Bajos, Portugal, Reino Unido, Rusia y Suecia. Los participantes en el programa ayudan a mejorar las destrezas orales en la lengua meta de los estudiantes en centros del sistema educativo español, bajo la supervisión de un profesor titular. Esperamos que formar parte de este programa te aporte una experiencia positiva y un crecimiento personal y profesional.

Vivir y trabajar en un país extranjero es una experiencia extraordinariamente enriquecedora, una vez superado el periodo de adaptación. Las recompensas profesionales y personales son tantas que hacen que las dificultades iniciales merezcan la pena. Los auxiliares participantes deben tener en cuenta que, para tratar de paliar las dificultades inherentes al proceso de adaptación, es necesario tener una actitud flexible y una disposición positiva y abierta ante el reto que representa trabajar y vivir en un contexto nuevo, con otra cultura y otro sistema de valores. Esa disposición es crucial por tratarse de un puesto en el que el trato humano con los alumnos, compañeros, padres y familias o personas con las que se conviva, es el componente más importante del trabajo diario. Dicha actitud implica saber escuchar, saber ponerse en el lugar de los demás y estar dispuesto a aprender y a adaptarse. El éxito está asegurado si el auxiliar tiene además la motivación y el entusiasmo que siempre son esenciales en los profesionales de la educación.

Beneath the waves of e-petitions, "likes," and hashtags lies a sea of data - a newly quantified form of supporter sentiment - and advocacy organizations can now utilize new tools to measure this data to make decisions and shape campaigns. In this book, David Karpf discusses the power and potential of this new "analytic activism," exploring the organizational and media logics that determine how digital inputs shape the choices that political campaigners make. He provides the first careful analysis of how organizations like Change.org and Upworthy.com influence the types of political narratives that dominate our Facebook newsfeeds and Twitter timelines, and how MoveOn.org and its "netroots" peers use analytics to listen more effectively to their members and supporters. As well, he identifies the boundaries that define the scope of this new style of organized citizen engagement. But also raising a note of caution, Karpf identifies the dangers and limitations in putting too much faith in these new forms of organized listening.

You do not have to use R, either. Other choices of computing languages include Python, C, C++, SQL, Bash, Stan, JavaScript, and so on, although R is best supported.
