Book God and Man s Relationship Through The Dispensations Of Time

Download or read book God and Man s Relationship Through The Dispensations Of Time written by Marion Tripp and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2014-10-25 with total page 233 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God and Man's Relationship Through the Dispensations of Time This book is a follow up of What Was God Doing before He Made Man, Dr. Tripp's unusual book. God's plan for man through the ages is a progressive one, through seven dispensations of time. Ephesians 1:10, "That in the dispensation of the fullness of time he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth." Through the ages, God has dealt with man in varied ways according to the period of time. These periods are known as dispensations. The prehistoric period does not come under a dispensation because there was no man during that period. A dispensation is a period of time when man is tested in respect to obedience to some specific revelation of the will of God for that period. There are seven such dispensations, each of which has a character of its own and is so distinct that it cannot be commingled with any other.

Download or read book How to Study the Bible written by Watchman Nee and published by Living Stream Ministry. This book was released on 1999 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Bible is the inspired word of God, and every believer should study it in order to know the rich and vast content of God's divine provisions. When God speaks, He does so through His established eord. Therefore, we must study the Bible in a proper way in order to let the word of God dwell richly in our hearts. In order to study the Bible, we first must be proper persons, having passed through the necessary spiritual training under the Lord's leading and guiding. We must also use the right methods. Many good books have been printed on how to study the Bible, but most pay attention only to methods of studying the Bible; They do not pay enough attention to the person who studies the Bible. Even with the right methods, we can receive very little in our study of the Bible if Our person is not proper before the Lord.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Building on the foundation of Kingdom through Covenant (Crossway, 2012), Stephen J. Wellum and Brent E. Parker have assembled a team of scholars who offer a fresh perspective regarding the interrelationship between the biblical covenants. Each chapter seeks to demonstrate how the covenants serve as the backbone to the grand narrative of Scripture. For example, New Testament scholar Thomas Schreiner writes on the Sabbath command from the Old Testament and thinks through its applications to new covenant believers. Christopher Cowan wrestles with the warning passages of Scripture, texts which are often viewed by covenant theologians as evidence for a "mixed" view of the church. Jason DeRouchie provides a biblical theology of “seed” and demonstrates that the covenantal view is incorrect in some of its conclusions. Jason Meyer thinks through the role of law in both the old and new covenants. John Meade unpacks circumcision in the OT and how it is applied in the NT, providing further warrant to reject covenant theology's link of circumcision with (infant) baptism. Oren Martin tackles the issue of Israel and land over against a dispensational reading, and Richard Lucas offers an exegetical analysis of Romans 9-11, arguing that it does not require a dispensational understanding. From issues of ecclesiology to the warning passages in Hebrews, this book carefully navigates a mediating path between the dominant theological systems of covenant theology and dispensationalism to offer the reader a better way to understand God’s one plan of redemption.

Download or read book Way Truth Life written by Dale M. Presley and published by Author House. This book was released on 2009-10-29 with total page 174 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Way Truth:Life, that expands upon the theology presented in the authors first-published book, Way Truth:Life Revelation of the Creator LORD Jesus Christ, is a book that is much needed. For, most who claim to be Christian do not comprehend the fullness of Who the Creator LORD Jesus Christ is. And, virtually none of these understands Gods overall Plan of Redemption of the Ages that is necessary to correctly interpret Bible prophecy. These are so ignorant of what God is doing and about to do that they do not even know what questions to ask. Most proclaimed Christians have no concept of what the Bible reveals concerning the timing of Christs return. They certainly cannot use simple terms to clearly explain how Gods predestination and mankinds free will coexist. They do not know how God will ultimately judge all sinners in a fair manner regardless of when they live or what spiritual enlightenment they are exposed to. Sadly, most do not even know what God really requires for a person to be born again and eternally saved, much less what spiritual stages everyone who ever lives potentially goes through from the moment that one comes into existence until he physically dies. They do not know Gods plan for His chosen nation of Israel during the church age, during the coming 7-year Tribulation and during the Millennial Kingdom. And, they have no idea what the Bible clearly reveals about the destiny of everyone who dies before the age of moral accountability. Clear answers to the above are provided within this fully scripture-referenced book on theology entitled Way Truth:Life. Additionally, the authors most-literal approach to interpreting Gods Word also makes it very easy to decipher Bible prophecy.

Book The Vine

    Book Details:
  • Author : Shirley Harder

  • Release : 2014
  • ISBN : 1490817115
  • Pages : 363 pages

Download or read book The Vine written by Shirley Harder and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2014 with total page 363 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Vine is not an apologetic. It is not a self-help book, nor is it about saving others. It may be a declaration - an amalgamation of thoughts knit together with the motif of a vine - a theological algorithm leading to the Church's destiny as the Bride of Christ. The major premise of The Vine is that of God's overarching plan and purpose for the church, the Bride of Christ. It follows a minor motif of the nature and husbandry of a grapevine. The Vine explores God's covenants, dispensations, and revelations, upon which the life of the faith-vine depends-a novel approach to the beginning, growth, and destiny of the church. Combining the two premises leads to a fulfilling conclusion.

Book Dispensationalism Israel and the Church

Download or read book Dispensationalism Israel and the Church written by Craig A. Blaising and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 1992 with total page 408 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The relationship between Israel and the church is a crucial reference point in theology, especially in distinguishing between dispensational and nondispensational schools of thought. The writers of this book view Israel and the church as distinct theological institutions within the historical progress of divine revelation. But they are also related as successive phases of a redemptive program that is historically progressive and eschatologically converging. The goal of the book is a convergence of ideas among evangelical scholars in recognizing both continuity and discontinuity in the Israel-church relationship. - Back cover.

Book The Greatest Secret Ever Hidden

Download or read book The Greatest Secret Ever Hidden written by Chester Sapino and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2008 with total page 360 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1972, sinister and dark forces invaded my life from a nonphysical realm causing great fear to grip my heart. This experience led me to undertake a detailed search and study over a 35 year period of ancient writings dealing with the spirit realm. During this time, I came to realize that there are two forces that we have to deal with in our lives on a continuous basis - namely the forces of good and evil. I also became aware of the fact that there are two forces called the truth and the false. Discerning the knowledge of the truth involved the construction of what I refer to in the book as the matrix of truth. The matrix can be looked upon as building blocks that a person establishes in their heart as they live out their life. In my quest for the truth, I uncovered The Greatest Secret Ever Hidden. Can you imagine a secret that has been veiled in secrecy for thousands of years being revealed in a flash of insight which is so remarkable as to totally boggle the mind? The question will be whether you have the tenacity and the ability to uncover, understand and live in The Greatest Secret Ever Hidden! Your belief system will be pushed to the wall as you read this book, and for you, it will be a matter of life and death, as you attempt to grapple with the astounding truth revealed in The Greatest Secret Ever Hidden!

Book Deception in the Body of Christ

Download or read book Deception in the Body of Christ written by Robert E. Hill and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2010-03-01 with total page 76 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose of this book is to present a comprehensive review of deception, its essential component of neurolinguistic dialectics, and how it is used by Satan to corrupt the human mind from devotion to Jesus Christ. These theological subjects are explored in an interdisciplinary fashion in an attempt to reveal historical knowledge of religious and secular developments of the ages needed to understand spiritual failure, deception, sin, apostasy, the role of the human mind as the venue or battlefield of deception, and how faith in God becomes weak and susceptible to doubt. Always at issue here is "why humanity replicates behavior that regresses to the same results of apostasy and utter spiritual failure induced by deception?" This interdisciplinary approach eludes the prototypical, one-dimensional approach to understanding deception and sin and presents the reader with a "how to" methodology that will hopefully defeat deception and sin. It also shows how deception results from heretical doctrine advanced by false prophets and preachers. Moreover, this book will help readers hone their skills necessary to examine issues of contemporary life with critical thinking in the context of religious and human history that facilitates their becoming better human beings.
