Download or read book Gestion des principales difficult s et complications per et post op ratoires en chirurgie implantaire written by Arnaud Deudon and published by . This book was released on 2012 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Gestion des complications implantaires written by Marc Bert and published by . This book was released on 2004 with total page 376 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Gestion des checs et complications post op ratoires en implantologie written by Julien Lasserre (dentiste).) and published by . This book was released on 2014 with total page 198 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Les implants zygomatiques gestion des complications per et post op ratoires revue de litt rature written by Yona Israel and published by . This book was released on 2016 with total page 66 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Surgical Complications in Oral Implantology

Download or read book Surgical Complications in Oral Implantology written by Louie Al-Faraje and published by Quintessence Publishing (IL). This book was released on 2011 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This exceptional new book is designed as a self-instruction guide to the diagnosis, management, and prevention of surgery-related complications in implant dentistry. It functions in two ways: First, it is a valuable resource for the implant surgeon seeking practical and succinct information about how to manage a complication in an emergency setting; and second, it can be read from cover to cover as a primer on implant surgery, from the initial consultation and treatment planning through the restorative phase of treatment. Besides addressing pre-, intra-, and postoperative implant surgery complications, the book also includes a comprehensive treatment-planning protocol that allows for the early detection of potential surgical complications and how to avoid them. Early detection of complications that are amenable to rescue therapies may reverse the fate of a failing implant or a bone-grafting procedure. Invaluable for the novice and experienced implant surgeon alike.

Book Complications per op ratoires en implantologie

Download or read book Complications per op ratoires en implantologie written by Kevin Ohayon and published by . This book was released on 2021 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Biosocialities Genetics and the Social Sciences

Download or read book Biosocialities Genetics and the Social Sciences written by Sahra Gibbon and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2007-07-20 with total page 387 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Biosocialities, Genetics and the Social Sciences explores the social, cultural and economic transformations that result from innovations in genomic knowledge and technology. This pioneering collection uses Paul Rabinow’s concept of biosociality to chart the shifts in social relations and ideas about nature, biology and identity brought about by developments in biomedicine. Based on new empirical research, it contains chapters on genomic research into embryonic stem cell therapy, breast cancer, autism, Parkinson’s and IVF treatment, as well as on the expectations and education surrounding genomic research. It covers four main themes: novel modes of identity and identification, such as genetic citizenship the role of institutions, ranging from disease advocacy organizations and voluntary organizations to the state the production of biological knowledge, novel life-forms, and technologies the generation of wealth and commercial interests in biology. Including an afterword by Paul Rabinow and case studies on the UK, US, Canada, Germany, India and Israel, this book is key reading for students and researchers of the new genetics and the social sciences – particularly medical sociologists, medical anthropologists and those involved with science and technology studies.

Book Peritoneal Surface Malignancies

Download or read book Peritoneal Surface Malignancies written by Emel Canbay and published by Springer. This book was released on 2015-07-09 with total page 127 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book has been designed to provide the full description of the comprehensive management of peritoneal surface malignancies as a new emerging specialty. Combined treatment of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) introduced by our leader Paul H. Sugarbaker are performed to treat peritoneal metastases by surgeons all around the world. Therefore this book is focused on detailed surgical anatomy of the peritoneum, preoperative clinical assessment of the peritoneal surface malignancy, patient preparation and operation room equipments, different surgical procedures for CRS and reconstruction, intraoperative hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) and neoadjuvant intraperitoneal chemotherapy, early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (EPIC) and molecular basis of peritoneal surface malignancies. The chapter on molecular mechanisms of the formation of peritoneal carcinomatosis provides insight into a rapidly expanding knowledge within this speciality. This book should be valuable for surgical oncologists who deal with multimodal treatment for peritoneal surface malignancies, as well as for the trained peritonectomy surgeons. For the senior surgeons, it will also introduce new techniques and approaches in this field such as dealing with the omental cakes and massive organ involvement that requires multi-organ resection.

Book Health System Performance Comparison an Agenda for Policy Information and Research

Download or read book Health System Performance Comparison an Agenda for Policy Information and Research written by Irene Papanicolas and published by McGraw-Hill Education (UK). This book was released on 2013-06-16 with total page 418 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: International comparison of health system performance has become increasingly popular, made possible by the rapidly expanding availability of health data. It has become one of the most important levers for prompting health system reform. Yet, as the demand for transparency and accountability in healthcare increases, so too does the need to compare data from different health systems both accurately and meaningfully. This timely and authoritative book offers an important summary of the current developments in health system performance comparison. It summarises the current state of efforts to compare systems, and identifies and explores the practical and conceptual challenges that occur. It discusses data and methodological challenges, as well as broader issues such as the interface between evidence and practice. The book draws out the priorities for future work on performance comparison, in the development of data sources and measurement instruments, analytic methodology, and assessment of evidence on performance. It concludes by presenting the key lessons and future priorities, and in doing so offers a rich source of material for policy-makers, their analytic advisors, international agencies, academics and students of health systems.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents a selection of case studies of pioneers in arts education who were working in the United Kingdom in the period 1890 to 1950. Focusing on music, drama, and visual arts and crafts, the editors and contributors examine the impact these individuals had on developing innovative approaches to these subject areas and how they drew on perspectives that emphasised the need for children’s self-expression. The chapters offer an analysis of the pioneers’ beliefs and values, with a particular emphasis on their ideological positions about identity, nation, and what constituted ‘good taste’. The book further examines how their ideas were disseminated, in so doing interrogating the concept of ‘influence’ in educational theory and practice.
