Moses Roswell Spencer (1789-1860), a direct descendant in the seventh generation, married Alma Flagg, and moved to Payson, Adams County, Illinois. George Spencer (1829-1872), a son, became a Mormon convert and his descendants and relatives moved to Utah and elsewhere. Some of these Mormons immigrated to Alberta and elsewhere in Canada. The other descendants of Moses Roswell Spencer lived in Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, California and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. Other members of the family emigrated from England to to Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere.
