A third conference, "The 2005 Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizures (PNES) Treatment Workshop, sponsored by the NINDS, the NIMH, and the American Epilepsy Society and organized by W. Curt LaFrance, Jr., brought together experts from around the world, representing many disciplines. The enthusiasm emanating from that landmark meeting reverberated widely amongst professionals interested in the evaluation and treatment of persons with PNES.
