The participants were military chaplains serving at the Walter Reed Anny Medical Center. The goal for the participating chaplains was to achieve greater wholeness through participating in theological reflection using Narrative Therapy. My goal was to achieve greater wholeness through facilitating and participating in theological reflection using Narrative Therapy. The dissertation explores the integration of Narrative Therapy and pastoral counseling for the purpose of healing traumatized people. I want these Christian chaplains to say with the Psalmist, "O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me" (Psalm 30:2).The outcome of the project will benefit people suffering from trauma.
