Book A Glimpse of the New Genesis

Download or read book A Glimpse of the New Genesis written by Richard J. "Dick" Hill and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2023-04-06 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most people approach the study of prophecy from the aspect of “when.” But what needs to guide our study is what Jesus had to say about His Second Coming. He gave two signs of His return—“the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel” and “as the days of Noah were so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.” In this book Richard J. “Dick” Hill, who has spent a lifetime in Christian ministry, explores how regeneration allows someone to be born into God’s kingdom. He observes that the seed of the gospel is absolutely necessary for new life (new genesis). The author notes that not only are we born into the kingdom, but we are baptized into the King by the Holy Spirit at the same moment. The church is within the kingdom of God, but the church is not the kingdom of God. God has brought Jew and Gentile together into one new man, the church. This mystery that was revealed by the apostle Paul was never mentioned in the Old Testament. God’s church will be snatched away in the fullness of time, and the dispensation of God’s grace for the Gentiles will be complete.

Book The Genesis Race

Download or read book The Genesis Race written by Will Hart and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2003-10-24 with total page 286 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Shows that Earth was visited by an extraterrestrial race who bioengineered modern man in its image and taught man how to construct the pyramids • Examines the flaws in Darwin’s theory of evolution and presents startling new evidence of intelligent intervention • Reveals the messages coded in the pyramids left by the ancients concerning impending Earth changes at the end of the Mayan calendar For millennia the development of humanity showed a consistent homogenous pattern. Then suddenly, around 3000 B.C.E., great civilizations sprang up around the globe. All the creation myths of these civilizations tell of gods who came down to Earth and fashioned man in their own image, teaching them the arts of agriculture and civilized life. In addition, the dominant architectural design in Egypt, Sumeria, Peru, Mexico, and China was the pyramid, though science has never been able to explain why or where these peoples obtained the advanced technological knowledge to construct such edifices. The abruptness and similarities of these evolutionary leaps calls into question the Darwinian theory of evolution, given that there are no traces of any intermediate evolutionary forms. Now, using the most current research on DNA, Will Hart shows that these gods were actually visitors from other worlds who genetically engineered modern humanity from the beings that then inhabited the planet. He also suggests that the Bible and other creation stories have been interpreted falsely as myth when they should have been read as history. The structures left by our ancestors were designed in accordance with precise astronomical and geodetic alignments to make them visible from outer space and to survive for thousands of years with the intent of communicating information relating to physical and temporal events. Humanity’s current stage of development has finally reached the point where the secret messages of these structures can be decoded to reveal the fate of humanity in the coming Earth changes.

Book The Time Is at Hand

  • ISBN : 1607910268
  • Pages : 310 pages

Download or read book The Time Is at Hand written by Robert Finley and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2008-11 with total page 310 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THE TIME IS AT HAND The Book of Revelation was written in 66 A.D. to reveal that the time had come for the fulfillment of Christ's prophecies regarding those who condemned Him to death. The destruction of Jerusalem, which He had foretold, was delayed 36 years while He called out an elect remnant of 144,000 Hebrews to give the gospel to other nations. The great tribulation occurred 66-70 A.D. There will be no other comparable to it. The falling away of the churches began in the Fourth Century, and culminated 500 years later with that man of sin setting himself up in Rome like a god on the earth. The first beast of Revelation 13 was the Roman Empire, the second was religious Rome. The Antichrist came in the Seventh Century, not "against Christ," but as the one who took His place, as in "anti-climax." Muhammad's influence has been a thousand times greater than all other antichrists put together: past, present and future. There is no mention of the restoration of Israel as a nation in the New Testament, so present-day Israel has no prophetic significance. Christ will return when He has planted a witness ________________________________________ 1944-Student Body President, University of Virginia Undefeated Inter-Collegiate Boxing Champion 1945-1948-Field Evangelist, Youth for Christ International University Evangelist, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship 1948-1951-Missionary Evangelist in China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines and India 1953-1970-Founder, first President, Chairman: International Students, Inc. 1953-2008-Founder, first President, Chairman: Overseas Students Mission Founder, first President, Chairman: Christian Aid Mission ROBERT FINLEY

Book excerpt: DO NOT BE FOOLED! The Church, the body of Christ, has stood both spiritually and biblically through a long history of effective ministry. Empowered and gifted by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God the local church is still standing! We find the church challenged today by a radically changing time; the Greek “anion” refers to “a period of time.” The Apostle Paul warned of the “Perilous times” to come in the last days: the great rejection of God and the sacrificial offering [blood] that God requires – for a [bloodless] substitute, that humanity is willing to give. (see Genesis 4:3-7; Hebrews 11:4)

Book Dying to Tell You

Download or read book Dying to Tell You written by Michael Hunter and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-11-19 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus tells us that if one desires to be his disciple, they must "deny himself and take up his cross and follow me" (Mark 8:34). But what does it mean to take up your cross, and how can we do this? The apostle Paul said that he "desired to know nothing...except Jesus Christ and him crucified" (1 Corinthians 2:2) and elsewhere even claimed to "have been crucified with Christ" (Galatians 2:20). How can one join Paul and know Jesus in his Crucifixion? The answer is to take Jesus at his word. From the cross, Jesus spoke seven times. These sayings summarize the gospel and explain how we can know him in his Crucifixion. On the cross, Jesus was literally Dying to Tell You how his death fulfilled God's eternal plan for our redemption. Unlike other studies of the "last sayings" of Jesus from the cross, Dying to Tell You takes a new approach and views the sayings together as a whole, revealing how together they form the foundation to understanding the gospel of Jesus. Originally motivated to seek a resolution to the dilemma of which saying is the last (both Luke and John appear to report the last saying), Dying to Tell You establishes a new order for the sayings based on a detailed examination and integration of the four Crucifixion narratives contained in the Gospels. While each saying is individually examined, rather than handling them as isolated statements, Dying to Tell You demonstrates how these sayings comprise the final message of Jesus, his sermon on the cross. Along the way, Dying to Tell You also provides assurance that the Bible can be trusted and is a historically accurate resource; demonstrates that the cross is the centerpiece of redemptive history; and illustrates how Jesus and the Crucifixion serve to fulfill the scriptures and provide for the salvation of mankind. Dying to Tell You is nothing less than one disciple's spiritual awakening and quest to know "Jesus Christ and him crucified" through the sayings he made from the cross and gospel they proclaim.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There have been all kinds of explanations suggested for what happened at Pentecost. When God first poured out his Spirit’s Life upon the church it became obvious that God was at work. Many explanations of what happened at Pentecost have reduced this spiritual phenomenon to a list of things we ought to be doing. What this approach to ministry forgets is that Pentecost was not about what we need to be doing. It is about what God was doing and what God continues to do by bringing Christ to dwell within God’s people. Pentecost show us that you can’t reduce the mystery of life in the Spirit to a ministry model that can be duplicated whenever we want. If it could wouldn’t that have happened by now in America? May I ask you to consider whether any ministry program has brought lasting revival to this nation? What I believe we have seen is the hope for revival being shared; and we are very passionate about that. But our passion or our programs will not produce life in us or in others. Only God can do that! What we need is a fundamental transformation of our lives and ministries. Only the Spirit of God can cause a person to be born again (John 3:5-7). Only the Spirit of God can enable a walk with Jesus (Galatians 3:1-3). And only the Spirit of God can bring about the awakening and revival that this nation needs (Acts 4:31). Pentecost teaches us that it is not about having the right model for ministry. If anyone had a model for ministry that could not be improved upon it was Israel. God told Moses to make their ministry after the “pattern” he had seen on the Mountain as he met with God (Exodus 25:9, 40). And while this ministry was to be preformed it had no power to transform the lives of those believers who faithfully sought to maintain its ritual because their hearts could not be changed by the outward observance of any law (Hebrews 7:19). The author of the Epistle to the Hebrews puts it this way, “This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: ‘See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain’” (Hebrews 8:5). “But God found fault with the people and said, ‘The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them upon their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.’ By calling this covenant ‘new,’ he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear” (Hebrews 8:8-13). So it is not about getting our model for ministry right or about having the right program or is it about knowing Christ and walking as he did; but only the Spirit’s presence in our lives can do that! The book of Acts shows this over and over again. Luke had already written the gospel named after him and he refers to this as “my former book” when he starts his preface in Acts (Acts 1:1). He says that the gospel of Luke recorded, “all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven.” He then wrote Acts which recorded what Jesus continued to do and teach, except now it is through the agency of the church as empowered by his Holy Spirit. Luke’s record is a diary of what happened as God’s presence returned to earth with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the church. Jesus was on the throne in glory but he
