Sixteen new plots were established in three Northeast Coastal and Barrier Network parks. New plots were randomly selected using a generalized random-tessellation stratified (GRTS) approach from a 250-m grid that overlays the parks. The monitoring plots consist of a 20 m x 20 m square with three nested microplots and 12 quadrats.
