How do I crack the prophetic codes to excavate microscopic details pertaining to people's names, residential addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, car number plates and other hidden details. How do I engineer the Forensic prophetic technology to decode the beginning and the end of situations, people, places and events with unrivaled accuracy? These are torrents of endless questions which have profusely flooded the minds of many believers across the broad spectrum of Christian faith with regard to the art of prophesying forensically, accurately and articulately, yet many lament at the frustration of failing to secure the valid answers they need. Although much has been deliberated in the prophetic arena evidenced by the voluminous books written on the prophetic and the mushrooming of Prophetic Schools across the Body of Christ, there are still lingering questions across the Body of Christ triggered by the perennial hunger and unquenchable thirst for the prophetic especially matters of prophesying accurately, precisely and articulately. While anybody can prophesy, not everybody can prophesy accurately, precisely and forensically because it takes an understanding of a Biblical prophetic forensic technology as encapsulated in this book in order for one to be catapulted into that realm. For this reason, this book is the first of its kind as it exclusively and exhaustively touches on the subject of Forensic Prophecy. As a new paradigm in the prophetic realm, Forensic prophecy is a topic that has recently received great interest, culminating in some books being written on the prophetic yet none of them outlines the breadth and scope of Forensic prophecy especially the art of prophetic articulation and navigation. This book is an exceptional read as it seeks to examine the scope, depth and vast spectrum of the Forensic prophetic realm, in terms of how it operates, how to tap into that realm and prophesy with your eyes open. The sub-title of this book, "The Art Of Prophetic Articulation And Navigation" covers both PROPHETIC ARTICULATION which is the ability to speak prophetically and forensically as in the case of a Nabi and PROPHETIC NAVIGATION which is the ability to see in the spirit realm as in the case of a Seer. As you read this book, you will experience many facets to the prophetic streams which will allow you to experience the unfolding creative power of the prophetic ministry with unrivaled accuracy. It will catapult you to a higher prophetic dimension of forensic prophecy in which it's naturally supernatural to prophesy and receiving a prophetic word from God is a common experience. Moreover, you will receive such a heavy impartation of the prophetic anointing from the written pages of this book that will ignite a prophetic explosion in your spirit, causing you to prophesy with your eyes open! This book empowers all believers and prophetic ministers with revelatory knowledge and wisdom on how to operate in the Forensic prophetic realm of God and decipher the anatomy of the forensic prophetic grace. • Pages : 410 pages

Download or read book Hyper Biblical written by Duke Jeyaraj and published by Notion Press. This book was released on 2024-07-10 with total page 410 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Well, it is not simply enough to merely pray against hell-populating false teaching! We must do more! We must ‘contend for the faith once for all delivered for the saints’ (Jude 3)! We must open our mouths and uncork our pens to warn about ‘savage wolves which will come among you (the local church believers) not sparing the flock’ (Acts 20:29). Spread virally, thanks to the social media, modern cultic false teachings such as (1) Hyper-Grace (‘No judgement for believers post-Cross’), (2) Hyper-Supernaturalism (‘It is always God’s will to heal me here and now’, ‘Believers in Jesus need not die, if they chose to’), and (3) Hyper-Love (‘Everyone is already saved, but they just don’t know it yet!’, ‘You will stop existing in hell or will eventually come to heaven from there’) have locust-swarmed churches in South Indian cities and beyond. In this book, the incensed author, argues vehemently from the Bible to show how much these scripture-twisting, half-truth-full-of, diabolical teachings have majorly deviated from the ‘whole counsel of God’. The author offers these ‘five loaves and two fish’ unto the Lord! Perhaps, the Lord use it for the restoration of the gangrene-of-false-teaching infested Body of Christ, back to sound doctrinal health (this book also includes a section where there is an antidote against false teaching). Those embracing these false teachings must be warned to steer clear of this book as it would greatly infuriate them, calling a spade, a spade, without ‘putting blade’ (using illustrations from the world of Cricket)! The author’s prayer is that the Holy Spirit could possibly cajole and convince such blood-bought, precious, believers, through these peppery pages, to swiftly abandon these eternity-shipwrecking doctrines and wholly embrace biblical, balanced, sound doctrine!

Book Prophecy and Politics in South African Pentecostalism

Download or read book Prophecy and Politics in South African Pentecostalism written by Mookgo Solomon Kgatle and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2024-01-29 with total page 309 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is an interdisciplinary study of the relationship between prophecy and politics in South African Pentecostalism. The role and the power of prophecy in enhancing the presence of politicians in the church square are unpacked through historical examples, as well as case studies of contemporary prophets. Solomon Kgatle argues that the influence of prophecy in politics has the potential to weaken the prophetic voice of the church in general and the Pentecostal movement in particular. He proposes a Pentecostal political theology of prophecy. This theology is developed by taking into cognizance the theoretical and theological frameworks of prophetic imagination and pneumatological imagination. In addition, this theology seeks a balance between prophecy and power and prophecy and sovereignty.

Book The Use and Abuse of the Spirit in Pentecostalism

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a pneumatological reflection on the use and abuse of the Spirit in light of the abuse of religion within South African Pentecostalism. Both emerging and well-established scholars of South African Pentecostalism are brought together to reflect on pneumatology from various approaches, which includes among others: historical, biblical, migration, commercialisation of religion, discernment of spirits and human flourishing. From a broader understanding of the function of the Holy Spirit in different streams of Pentecostalism, the argument is that this function has changed with the emergence of the new Prophetic churches in South Africa. Download or read book Prophecy in a Secular Age written by David True and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2021-02-09 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The place of religion within a secular society has been much discussed in recent years, fueled in part by Charles Taylor’s Secular Age (2007). The conversation surrounding Taylor’s work suggests a widespread interest in religion in secular or post-secular contexts. Even as scholars have become increasingly interested in emerging and novel forms of religion, prophecy has continued to be depicted in traditional forms employed to further partisan agendas. In place of secularity as religious declension and culture clash, this volume explores prophetic works in a variety of forms, including satire, tragedy, the novel, Native American tradition, science fiction, the Bible, and higher education itself. Together the contributors demonstrate that there is much to learn from both religious and secular prophecy. The book is inspired by the idea that prophetic works are a promising subject area for a diverse audience in both higher education and the church. The volume’s contributors demonstrate as much in that they work in a wide range of disciplines, including religious studies, biblical studies, theology, American studies, literature, philosophy, and political theory.

Book Forensic Media

    Book Details:
  • Author : Greg Siegel
  • Publisher : Duke University Press
  • Release : 2014-11-05
  • ISBN : 0822376237
  • Pages : 312 pages

Download or read book Forensic Media written by Greg Siegel and published by Duke University Press. This book was released on 2014-11-05 with total page 312 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Forensic Media, Greg Siegel considers how photographic, electronic, and digital media have been used to record and reconstruct accidents, particularly high-speed crashes and catastrophes. Focusing in turn on the birth of the field of forensic engineering, Charles Babbage's invention of a "self-registering apparatus" for railroad trains, flight-data and cockpit voice recorders ("black boxes"), the science of automobile crash-testing, and various accident-reconstruction techniques and technologies, Siegel shows how "forensic media" work to transmute disruptive chance occurrences into reassuring narratives of causal succession. Through historical and philosophical analyses, he demonstrates that forensic media are as much technologies of cultural imagination as they are instruments of scientific inscription, as imbued with ideological fantasies as they are compelled by institutional rationales. By rethinking the historical links and cultural relays between accidents and forensics, Siegel sheds new light on the corresponding connections between media, technology, and modernity.

Book Pentecostalism and Cultism in South Africa

Download or read book Pentecostalism and Cultism in South Africa written by Mookgo Solomon Kgatle and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2021-02-28 with total page 238 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Pentecostalism is a growing movement in world Christianity. However, the growth of Pentecostalism in South Africa has faced some challenges, including the abuse of religion by some prophets. This book first names these prophets and the churches they lead in South Africa, and then makes use of literary and media analysis to analyse the religious practices by the prophets in relation to cultism. Additionally, the book analyses the “celebrity cult” and how it helps promote the prophets in South Africa. The purpose of this book is threefold: First, to draw parallels between the abuse of religion and cultism. Second, to illustrate that it is cultic tendencies, including the celebrity cult, that has given rise to many prophets in South Africa. Last, to showcase that the challenge for many of these prophets is that the Pentecostal tradition is actually anti-cultism, and thus there is a need for them to rethink their cultic tendencies in order for them to be truly relevant in a South African context.
