Book Far Infrared Clay Detox Wrap Course for Clinic Home Use

Download or read book Far Infrared Clay Detox Wrap Course for Clinic Home Use written by and published by Galina St George. This book was released on 2018-12-21 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Far Infrared Clay detox wraps are part of a treatment range developed by Galina St George. They combine healing powers of clays and far-infrared heat, to promote detoxification of the body. The use of Far Infrared promotes sweating and expulsion of toxins from the body, while clay pulls toxins out of the body thanks to a phenomenon called cation exchange. This makes detoxification a much faster process. Healing claysClays have been used to treat various health problems since prehistoric times.  If we look at animals rolling in muds and clays, and try to understand why they do it, we will learn to understand why humans have been drawn to clay, and what they would have used it for. Clays have been traditionally used to heal wounds, infections, eruptions, get rid of parasites, to neutralise toxins in cases of food poisoning, diarrhoea, as a natural pain relief substance, and even to decontaminate drinking water. Clays are used by natural health practitioners to promote detoxification and general healing. They are highly sorbent, which helps to absorb harmful substances and toxins - especially green illite clay. Another very important property of clays is cation exchange - the ability of clay to replace available ions found in their structure for cations of external matter. This process works like a magnet and allows for cations heavy metals to be drawn into the clay structure. This is the basic idea of how a detoxification process works. Far Infrared Heat The numerous healing properties of the Far-Infrared blanket are based on a simple spectrum of rays invisible to us – far-infrared rays. 80% of the total energy produced by the sun consists of Far Infrared rays. Unlike near-infrared rays which only heat up the surface, far-infrared rays penetrate deep into the tissues stimulating a whole range of activities. The great news is that the body produces far-infrared energy naturally. When the body is healthy it produces sufficient amounts of this energy which helps the body cells and organs to function to their full capacity. However, when the production of this energy is low, our bodies begin to suffer from energy deficiency, and we succumb to all sorts of ailments. Boosting the body systems with infrared light from outside is like giving water to a thirsty man. It gives energy to all the body cells, thus stimulating their activity, and this, in turn, kick-starts healing processes from the inside and general recovery. We can feel the far-infrared energy as a slow-acting deep heat. It gets deep into the body boosting the energy of every cell, widening blood capillaries, stimulating circulation and boosting all the body systems. Following are some of the effects of the FIR Clay Detox Wrap: - Detoxification from heavy metals - Detoxification from organic toxins - Cellular rejuvenation - Skin cleansing and rejuvenation - Reduced fatigue - Reduction in muscle tension - Improved joint mobility - Raised energy levels - Improved immunity - Reduction in water retention - Reduction in aches and pains. This treatment can be done both by therapists on paying clients and by anyone on themselves. If you are a therapist and would like to qualify to treat your clients, get in touch with us at purenaturecures.com.

Book Far Infrared Clay Detox Wrap Course for Clinic Home Use Learn How to Use Clays and Far Infrared for Transdermal Detox and Healing

Download or read book Far Infrared Clay Detox Wrap Course for Clinic Home Use Learn How to Use Clays and Far Infrared for Transdermal Detox and Healing written by Galina St George and published by Mineral Healing Courses. This book was released on 2018-10-12 with total page 234 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The idea of mineral healing is not a new one. People all over the world have been using salts, muds and clays for healing for thousands of years, with amazing results. Since this course is all about clay healing, I will focus on clay. The first medicinal use of clay tablets was documented in Mesopotamia 2500 years ago. However, there is every reason to believe that clay was used by even more ancient relatives to treat wounds and for other forms of healing. History has records of clays being used to improve the skin and to deal with all sorts of ills by ancient Egyptians. In fact, Cleopatra used to be a major proponent of clay masks, mud body wraps and healing seawater baths. Alexander the Great used to make his soldiers take clay with them during the times of his military conquests in order to quell diarrhoea, heal wounds and keep hunger at bay (they used to eat clay to do it). Our ancestors used to eat clay for the same reasons, as well as in order to replenish minerals in the body. This especially applied to pregnant women at the time they needed large quantities of such minerals like calcium and magnesium.Clay was issued as a ration to soldiers in France and Russia during World War I in order to keep food and water poisoning to a minimum and to prevent stomach infections from spreading. Clays were used to stop such things as sepsis and gangrene. More recently, French doctors successfully treated flesh-eating Buruli ulcers with green clay. Madame Line Brunet de Courssou was a pioneer in the use of green clay to treat these horrific ulcers. Later, scientist discovered that green clay could destroy MRSA bacteria where antibiotics were failing. I have just read that there has been an increase in Buruli in Australia as recently as April 2018. I just hope that they remembered about the experiences of the previous doctors who treated the infection with clay. The focus of this course is on a transdermal detox - from heavy metals and other toxins, by using clay and far infrared. The treatment was created by myself based on years of research into healing powers of clays which I have been using for quite a number of years. I love clay. It's simple and yet so potent. Having devised the treatment I decided to create a course in order to train others in what I have learned over the years about this wonderful mineral and also to help better understand how clays worked and how they can be used to help us live healthier lives. There are a number of uses for the clay detox wraps. They include:General DetoxFar Infrared stimulates the activity of all the body tissues, on a very deep level. Where the body is heated normally, it would eliminate toxins mainly from the superficial layers of the skin. With infrared heat, deep layers of the skin and body tissues are stimulated into releasing toxins. The blood vessels expand, and this promotes blood circulation, which speeds up nutrient/toxin exchange. Detoxification using Far Infrared systems becomes much more effective and speedier process.Using magnesium chloride or Epsom salt helps to supplement magnesium levels in the body, which in turn helps to produce the energy required for detoxification.Weight LossBecause of their ability to speed up cellular metabolism, detoxification and remove excess water in the body, FIR systems are increasingly used in weight management. The effects are so powerful that they can be experienced in a very short period of time. A person feels much lighter even after one treatment, although it would be mainly water that they would have lost in a single treatment. The addition of clay to the treatment helps to promote detoxification which boosts the ability of the body to use fat deposits for energy.Other uses include pain reduction, improving immunity, stress relief, reduction in fatigue, insomnia, muscle tension and cramps due to an accumulation of lactic acid and many others.

Book Mineral Healing Recipe Book

Download or read book Mineral Healing Recipe Book written by and published by Galina St George. This book was released on with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Salts, clays and clay-like minerals have been used both by humans and animals to survive in the harshest conditions as long as they appeared on planet Earth. The reason is that they have always been the most freely and easily available substances to both species. Animals eat clay instinctively, in order to counteract the effects of poisonous substances in plants and to get rid of toxins and internal parasites, as well as to replenish themselves in vital minerals. They roll in mud to rid themselves of ticks, fleas and other skin parasites. They go to salt licks to replenish themselves in salts. The use of minerals by humans goes back to prehistoric times. People of all cultures were using clays for healing, to prevent food poisoning, heal wounds, stop infections, ulcers, as a source of minerals, and to stop hunger pains when food was in short supply. More recently, clays have been used to minimise the effects of radiation in places of radioactive emergencies – such as Chernobyl. Soldiers of Russia and France were given clay rations during World Wars as a means to stop poisoning from dirty water, heal wounds and prevent diarrhoea. Clays, muds and salts have been used extensively in health and beauty spas, in order to treat chronic health conditions, as well as improve skin and promote rejuvenation. More and more people are beginning to use minerals at home, especially in healing procedures. While my earlier books "Earth's Humble Healers" and "How Clays Work" provide general information about minerals and their healing properties, this book is a pactical guide full of recipes showing how minerals can be used in everyday life. The recipes aim to address common health problems, deal with pain and anxiety, improve skin condition, rejuvenate, boost metabolism and weight loss and much more. It also shows how salts, muds, clays, zeolite and diatomaceous earth can help pets, larger animals, improve health of plants in the garden, deal with insects in a safe way and do many other very useful things.

Book Far Infrared Mineral Weight Loss Wrap Course for Clinic Home Use

Download or read book Far Infrared Mineral Weight Loss Wrap Course for Clinic Home Use written by Galina St George and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-02 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Weight loss is possibly one of the most painful and widely discussed subjects in all parts of the world. Why have we found ourselves in the situation we are in? The problem is not just present in the Western world. The statistics show that a vast number of people in the developing world are suffering from various degrees of obesity which has led to a concern being repeatedly expressed by the World Health Organisation at least for two decades. However, I guess it's a rhetorical question since there are many reasons for it - social, psychological, environmental and so on. It is not the purpose of this course to analyse them since to cover such reasons would require writing a separate book. The focus of this course is on sustainable weight loss through mineral supplementation, detox, lymphatic drainage, improved circulation and metabolism due to the healing factors created by far infrared and minerals. The treatment was created by myself based on years of research into healing powers of minerals which I have been using for quite a number of years. I love clay. It's simple and yet so potent. I love other minerals as well, and have written a lot about their healing properties which are widely used by spas worldwide. So about 12 years ago I created a range of mineral-based treatments which I have been practising on my clients.Having devised the treatment I decided to create a course in order to train others in what I have learned over the years about this wonderful mineral and also to help better understand how clays worked and how they can be used to help us live healthier lives. It is important to mention that the printed or Kindle versions of the course do not include certification. To get certified, you will need to take the online version with the quizzes, case studies, assignments and the final assessment. This book aims to introduce the idea of healing with clays and far infrared and also to complement the online course.

Book Far Infrared Remileralising Rejuvenating Seaweed Wrap Course

Download or read book Far Infrared Remileralising Rejuvenating Seaweed Wrap Course written by Galina St George and published by Galina St George. This book was released on with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Far Infrared Remineralising and Rejuvenating Seaweed Wrap Course is the latest contribution by Galina St George into the Mineral Healing series which she began working on several years ago. The course looks into how seaweed, salts and clays in combination with the far infrared technology can be used to promote cellular regeneration on a level deeper than what can be achieved by using other popular treatments and rejuvenating products. Far infrared rays form part of the light spectrum invisible to a naked eye. They are able to penetrate deep into the body tissues stimulating their regeneration. The multiple health benefits of far infrared include improved circulation, cellular regeneration, improved lymphatic drainage and general detox - the properties which are so important for achieving a youthful look and vitality. The addition of seaweed and other minerals increases these benefits many times over. The skin has a wonderful ability to absorb what we need and excrete what we do. The Far Infrared Remineralising and Rejuvenating Seaweed Wrap is based on these two properties in order to promote the delivery of nutrients present in seaweed and the other minerals used in the treatment and the removal of toxins in order to kick-start the process of rejuvenation. The result is truly more than skin deep. The course is aimed both at therapists who would like to add a new and exciting treatment to their range of treatments and at anyone who is keen to achieve a more youthful look and general health through detoxification and remineralisation of the body cells. Therapists wishing to get certified to do the treatment on clients will need to take the online version of the course with the quizzes, case studies, assignments and the final assessment.

This book was released on 2019-04-25 with total page 218 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We all want to stay young as long as possible. But what does "young" mean to every one of us? Is it a youthful look? Or perhaps good health? Lots of energy? Fire in the belly? An inquisitive mind? Feeling desirable? Or maybe all of it?To me, it's a combination of what I've mentioned here and something elusive that is hard to describe. I'd call it the "magic factor" which is unique to every one of us. No food, vitamins, minerals or exercise can create it since it's part of what we are, our personality. And it cannot be recreated. Still, there are things which we need to do to keep that special "something" alive. What is it?First, we must look after our body by feeding it well. Food keeps us nourished and in order to stay young, we need to choose what, when and how much we eat. Exercise is another very important component of keeping young. It promotes circulation, delivery of vital nutrients and removal of toxins from the body. It also keeps our heart, blood vessels and other organs in good health. An active and balanced mind is the third vital ingredient of youth. There are ways to achieve it - through meditation and a variety of interests and activities we engage in daily. This goal of this course is to show you a fast and effective way to activate the body systems through detox and supplying the body with minerals, vitamins, peptides and various other substances promoting rejuvenation. The course was created by me, Galina St George, the founder of Pure Nature Cures School of Mineral & Spa Therapies based on a treatment I created in order to address the issue of ageing by achieving better health through using minerals and far infrared. I have been studying the health benefits of both for over a decade and sincerely believe that these two components can work magic. The treatment may not be for everyone, and I mention contraindications and cautions in the course. However, absolute contraindications are limited in number and most people will find the treatment revitalising, rejuvenating, relaxing and able to address many issues apart from rejuvenation. I hope you will enjoy learning about the treatment as much as I have enjoyed writing about it.

Book How Clays Work Science Applications of Clays Clay Like Minerals in Health Beauty

Download or read book How Clays Work Science Applications of Clays Clay Like Minerals in Health Beauty written by Galina St George and published by Mineral Healing. This book was released on 2016-12-23 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "How Clays Work - Science & Applications of Clays & Clay-like Minerals in Health & Beauty" is part of the "Mineral Healing" book series. The first book in the series is "Earth's Humble Healers." In the second book I write in more detail about why clays and clay-like minerals - muds, diatomite, zeolite, work the way the do. I have been researching uses and applications of clays in natural health and beauty for a number of years. Having read quite a few great books about clays for a clay user like you and me, I have not yet come across a non-scientific book which would talk about properties of clays and explain the science behind them. Most of the books I have read are either purely scientific, or consumer oriented, but with very little information of how and why clays work the the way they do. So I decided to write a book for those like myself, who like to dig deep into the subject. Why is it that some clays have such potent detoxifying properties? How does it happen? I was not happy with the explanations I saw. I wanted to learn it in more detail, to prove to myself that the assertion that clays can "ingest" toxins - both organic (e.g.pesticides) and inorganic (heavy and radioactive metals) and take them out of the body environment has a scientific foundation under it. I did my research, and this book is a result of it. I apologise in advance if some (only some) of the information in the book may come across as a bit too "scientific." "How Clays Work" is for those of you who would like to learn more about this wonderful mineral. Apart from cation (ion) exchange, it covers other phenomena - such as absorption, adsorption and intercalation as the properties playing an important part in detoxification processes. There is also a lot of detailed information about muds (which some people confuse with clays), and chapters about zeolite and diatomaceous earth. The section about mud is comprehensive covering types of mud, their origin, composition and how they work with the body. And for those of you who would like to learn about toxins - there is a section in the book about toxins - biological, environmental and metabolic. And of course, heavy metals. The book describes what they are, how they get into the body and how they affect us. It is quite detailed, if you are interested in learning about the subject from one source. You will also find quite a bit of information about various types of clays, their properties, and how they can be applied in health and beauty. This book is aimed at natural health and beauty practitioners working with clays, product developers, health shop owners. Wouldn't it be good to learn why clays work the way they do and explain it to your customers? But more than anything, this book is written for every one of you who is interested in learning about clays and why they play such an important role in detoxification and health maintenance. I hope that you enjoy reading the book. Please do leave feedback after you've read it. And of course - get in touch with me if you have any questions. All the best!

Book Polyhydroxyalkanoates

    Book Details:
  • Author : Harvey Williams
  • Publisher : Nova Science Publishers
  • Release : 2018
  • ISBN : 9781536134391
  • Pages : 0 pages

Download or read book Polyhydroxyalkanoates written by Harvey Williams and published by Nova Science Publishers. This book was released on 2018 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Polyhydroxyalkanoates: Biosynthesis, Chemical Structures and Applications opens with an exposé on employing extremophiles as polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) producers. The authors suggest that extremophiles may be easily subjected to a long-term continuous cultivation processes, which considerably enhances overall productivity while reducing the energy demand in biopolymer production. Conversely, a range of challenges remain, including improving the metabolic capability of extremophiles, recycling of fermentation broth, various process engineering aspects, and adaptation of bioreactor materials and process controlling devices to conditions shortening their life span. Following this, the enzymes, regulators and genes involved in PHA biosynthesis are analyzed for their potential as an alternative to synthetic polymers. They are synthesized as intracellular carbon and energy storage compounds from over 300 species in the presence of excess carbon and under oxygen, nitrogen or phosphorus limitation, or after pH shifts. This collection goes on to suggest PHA as a promising alternative for petrochemical compounds. The challenges of increasing economic feasibility in the global market, minimizing costs, and improving the polymer yield are reviewed. Additionally, recent research on structural variations of PHAs has been centered on the design, biosynthesis, and properties of biodegradable and biocompatible materials, which can be used for bioengineering. This collection also includes a focus on the roles of polyhydroxyesters and PHAs in the construction of tissue engineering scaffolds, which are used in bone, cartilage, ligament, skin, vascular tissues, neural tissues and skeletal muscles. Their exceptional properties, such as high surface-to-volume ratio, high porosity with very small pore size, and biodegradation have made them gain a lot of attention in this field. The biomedical applications of PHAs are explored, including in-vivo implants, tissue engineering, anticancer agents, drug delivery, biocontrol agents and memory enhancers, as their low acidity allows for minimal risk in usage. In order to enhance its applicability in various fields, the blends and nanocomposites of PHAs are studied and their potential challenges, applications and opportunities are addressed. After which, the industrial and agricultural applications are described, with specific focus on potential applications of PHAs in packaging. Other applications include moulded goods, paper coatings, non-woven fabrics, adhesives, films and performance additives. Recent advances in this area, by means of peer-reviewed literature and patents, are introduced and discussed. Moreover, innovative strategies for the synthesis of novel polymer blends, adequate for food contact applications, are presented.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: he history of chemistry is a story of human endeavor-and as er T ratic as human nature itself. Progress has been made in fits and starts, and it has come from all parts of the globe. Because the scope of this history is considerable (some 100,000 years), it is necessary to impose some order, and we have organized the text around three dis cemible-albeit gross--divisions of time: Part 1 (Chaps. 1-7) covers 100,000 BeE (Before Common Era) to the late 1700s and presents the background of the Chemical Revolution; Part 2 (Chaps. 8-14) covers the late 1700s to World War land presents the Chemical Revolution and its consequences; Part 3 (Chaps. 15-20) covers World War I to 1950 and presents the Quantum Revolution and its consequences and hints at revolutions to come. There have always been two tributaries to the chemical stream: experiment and theory. But systematic experimental methods were not routinely employed until the 1600s-and quantitative theories did not evolve until the 1700s-and it can be argued that modem chernistry as a science did not begin until the Chemical Revolution in the 1700s. xi xii PREFACE We argue however that the first experiments were performed by arti sans and the first theories proposed by philosophers-and that a rev olution can be understood only in terms of what is being revolted against.
