Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Psicoan lisis y familia

Download or read book Psicoan lisis y familia written by Anna Maria Nicolò and published by Herder Editorial. This book was released on 2015-05-06 with total page 236 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Clinical Dialogues on Psychoanalysis with Families and Couples

Download or read book Clinical Dialogues on Psychoanalysis with Families and Couples written by David E. Scharff and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2018-03-26 with total page 320 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book widens the scope of clinical and theoretical contributions on Couple and Family Psychoanalysis by collecting case presentations and discussions by analysts from Europe, North America, Latin America, China and Australia. The rich cross-fertilization across countries and analytic orientations stimulates cross-cultural thinking and deepens clinical exploration. In English language psychoanalysis, focus on object relations theory emphasizes internalization of early family figures in construction of the psyche, and their projective influence on others through continuing family interaction. Theories of the link and of the field explored in South America and Europe, shift focus from the internal life of the individual onto the influence of the other, and the way superordinate unconscious patterns introjected from previous generations are recreated by interacting members of families and couples, and in turn contribute to the continuing psychic evolution of individuals. Work in other cultures, such as China, brings us face to face with deep structures of thought and family organization that challenge Western psychoanalytic assumptions, even as those families are in rapid change themselves.

Book Interpretation in Couple and Family Psychoanalysis

Download or read book Interpretation in Couple and Family Psychoanalysis written by Timothy Keogh and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-05-24 with total page 299 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This collection of contemporary clinically-oriented papers covers a range of theoretical approaches to the fundamentally important technical issue of interpretation. It offers thought-provoking, cross-cultural clinical perspectives about interpretation with illustrations from cutting edge clinical practice with couples and families. Divided into three sections, the first part of the book examines interpretation within the broader field of psychoanalysis, and notes how it has been applied to couple and family psychoanalysis. Part II considers the current use of interpretation with couples, including how it informs assessment, while Part III focuses on its application with families and considers a broad range of key topics, including the nature of family, social and intergenerational links, the arrival of a newborn, same sex couples’ families, bereavement in a family, and families with adolescent children. Each chapter includes a lively discussion piece. Interpretation in Couple and Family Psychoanalysis: Cross-Cultural Perspectives represents a major contribution to the field of couple and family psychoanalysis. It reflects the fruits of an unparalleled era of global collaboration and the resultant re-shaping of approaches to clinical practice with couples and families. Mental health professionals dealing with couples and families will find it to have immediate relevance to their clinical work, either in their institutional or private practice.

Download or read book Introducci n al asesoramiento pastoral de la familia AETH written by Jorge E. Maldonado and published by Abingdon Press. This book was released on 2004-05-01 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Fairbairn and the Object Relations Tradition

Download or read book Fairbairn and the Object Relations Tradition written by Graham S. Clarke and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2018-03-08 with total page 787 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ronald Fairbairn developed a thoroughgoing object relations theory that became a foundation for modern clinical thought. This volume is homage to the enduring power of his thinking, and of his importance now and for the future of relational thinking within the social and human sciences. The book gathers an international group of therapists, analysts, psychiatrists, social commentators, and historians, who contend that Fairbairn's work extends powerfully beyond the therapeutic. They suggest that social, cultural, and historical dimensions can all be illuminated by his work. Object relations as a strand within psychoanalysis began with Freud and passed through Ferenczi and Rank, Balint, Suttie, and Klein, to come of age in Fairbairn's papers of the early 1940s. That there is still life in this line of thinking is illustrated by the essays in this collection and by the modern relational turn in psychoanalytic theory, the development of attachment theory, and the increasing recognition that there is 'no such thing as an ego' without context, without relationships, without a social milieu.

Book Cuando los que escuchan hablan

Download or read book Cuando los que escuchan hablan written by María Esther Gilio and published by Libros del Zorzal. This book was released on 2020-09-25 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Changing Sexualities and Parental Functions in the Twenty First Century

Download or read book Changing Sexualities and Parental Functions in the Twenty First Century written by Candida Se Holovko and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2018-03-26 with total page 332 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Recent societal changes have challenged long-established concepts in psychoanalysis, including the Oedipus complex, parental functions, and male and female psychosexuality. 'Postmodern families', based on sexual and emotional exchanges independent of gender, now include homoerotic couples who adopt children, or who create them through assisted fertilisation, as well as single parent families and blended families. A number of highly-renowned Latin American psychoanalysts have drawn attention to the urgency of revising theoretical and clinical concepts in the light of these new scenarios. In this book, they open up ideas which cover familiar territory of current concerns in psychoanalytic work, as well as other little-explored areas, with the emphasis on evolving sexualities and new experiences of parenthood. The first section revisits psychoanalytic theories, particularly parental functions in the area of sexuality and gender. The following section discusses new family configurations, and vicissitudes of the desire to have a child in men and women, with the authors presenting some psychic consequences for parents in therapy who have turned to assisted fertilisation.

Book The Poetry of the Word in Psychoanalysis

Download or read book The Poetry of the Word in Psychoanalysis written by Pere Folch Mateu and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2023-03-14 with total page 153 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Poetry of the Word in Psychoanalysis presents selected key papers by leading Spanish psychoanalyst Pere Folch Mateu. The pieces chosen for this book address clinical, psychopathological, technical and theoretical issues approached in Folch Mateu’s unique style, providing an introduction to his impressive output. Folch Mateu integrates a wide range of psychoanalytic sources – Freud, Klein and Bion, and French psychoanalysis – in approaching topics like the psychoanalytic process, obsessive modes of control, the pathology of the negative and intellectual inhibition. The author’s interest in exploring the interactions between the analyst and the patient in minute detail through the course of the psychoanalytic process is a key theme that emerges throughout, as is his devotion to the intersections between music, literature and psychoanalysis. The Poetry of the Word in Psychoanalysis will be of great interest to psychoanalysts and psychotherapists in practice and in training, particularly those wishing to explore the boundaries of psychoanalysis and the integration of different psychoanalytic approaches.

Book The Age of Youth in Argentina

Download or read book The Age of Youth in Argentina written by Valeria Manzano and published by UNC Press Books. This book was released on 2014-04-28 with total page 355 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This social and cultural history of Argentina's "long sixties" argues that the nation's younger generation was at the epicenter of a public struggle over democracy, authoritarianism, and revolution from the mid-twentieth century through the ruthless military dictatorship that seized power in 1976. Valeria Manzano demonstrates how, during this period, large numbers of youths built on their history of earlier activism and pushed forward closely linked agendas of sociocultural modernization and political radicalization. Focusing also on the views of adults who assessed, and sometimes profited from, youth culture, Manzano analyzes countercultural formations--including rock music, sexuality, student life, and communal living experiences--and situates them in an international context. She details how, while Argentines of all ages yearned for newness and change, it was young people who championed the transformation of deep-seated traditions of social, cultural, and political life. The significance of youth was not lost on the leaders of the rising junta: people aged sixteen to thirty accounted for 70 percent of the estimated 20,000 Argentines who were "disappeared" during the regime.
