Tools and techniques to assess personality, abilities, interests, transferable skills, values and employment barriers are introduced. This study is a descriptive survey research design, total enumeration was used since there are only 80 Grade 11 students. The problems encountered are ranked in order: 1. they are confused with what course to take; 2. their mother/father make a decision for them; 3. the family income is not sufficient; 4. there is no school that offers the course they want; 5. they do not see my future career; 6. they feel to sick or sickly that they can't choose the right career for them. Lastly, having a problem being away from my friends if they take a different course. The difficulties encountered are ranked in order: 1. they like the course or career, but they don't think they can finish it 2. they have difficulty in choosing that they might shift someday; 3. they have chosen a career but it is difficult to see themselves enjoying in the profession; 4. there is a conflict with what they want and what their parents' want; 5. they fear that they might be rejected in the course they are going to take; 6. they don't have a clear vision of what's going to be their future career; 7. they can't think of other reason why it's difficult for them to make decision in choosing career; 8. they just go with the flow with the recent demand of profession in the society nowadays; 9.1. they don't know their interest and; 9.2 they think, they are still young to make their own decision; 11. they perceived that they don't have a talent; and lastly, other reas

A quantitative method was used in this descriptive design. Three hundred and forty-two students participated by completing an online survey. Data from an online survey were used to assess students’ career decision-making choices based on the three self-authorship phases: external formulas, crossroads, and self-authorship (authoring one’s own life). The findings suggest that external formula outcomes with regard to gender indicated that both women and juniors had higher external formula scores than men and seniors, respectively. With reference to crossroads, there were no significant differences in scores between gender, academic standing, and transfer status. Self-authorship results with regard to gender indicated that women had higher self-authorship scores than men. Interaction was significant between gender and transfer, indicating that for each of them simultaneously (i.e., men, women, nontransfer, and transfer) crossroads had higher scores than external formulas and self-authorship. The research findings are useful to college and university career services and academic advisers to have a better understanding of when upper division students are autonomously making career choice decisions and how those choices can impact their majors. The appropriate career service interventions should be implemented to support their career planning and development in the future.

Lopez and the researcher-made four-point Likert scale questionnaire. The results revealed that the students are at the Beginning Thinker Level. It also showed that the five factors positively intervene with the level of critical thinking of students.

ABSTRACT Inasmuch as science is observational or perceptual in nature, the goal of providing a scientific model and mechanism for the evolution of complex systems ultimately requires a supporting theory of reality of which perception itself is the model (or theory-to-universe mapping). Where information is the abstract currency of perception, such a theory must incorporate the theory of information while extending the information concept to incorporate reflexive self-processing in order to achieve an intrinsic (self-contained) description of reality. This extension is associated with a limiting formulation of model theory identifying mental and physical reality, resulting in a reflexively self-generating, self-modeling theory of reality identical to its universe on the syntactic level. By the nature of its derivation, this theory, the Cognitive Theoretic Model of the Universe or CTMU, can be regarded as a supertautological reality-theoretic extension of logic. Uniting the theory of reality with an advanced form of computational language theory, the CTMU describes reality as a Self Configuring Self-Processing Language or SCSPL, a reflexive intrinsic language characterized not only by self-reference and recursive self-definition, but full self-configuration and self-execution (reflexive read-write functionality). SCSPL reality embodies a dual-aspect monism consisting of infocognition, self-transducing information residing in self-recognizing SCSPL elements called syntactic operators. The CTMU identifies itself with the structure of these operators and thus with the distributive syntax of its self-modeling SCSPL universe, including the reflexive grammar by which the universe refines itself from unbound telesis or UBT, a primordial realm of infocognitive potential free of informational constraint. Under the guidance of a limiting (intrinsic) form of anthropic principle called the Telic Principle, SCSPL evolves by telic recursion, jointly configuring syntax and state while maximizing a generalized self-selection parameter and adjusting on the fly to freely-changing internal conditions. SCSPL relates space, time and object by means of conspansive duality and conspansion, an SCSPL-grammatical process featuring an alternation between dual phases of existence associated with design and actualization and related to the familiar wave-particle duality of quantum mechanics. By distributing the design phase of reality over the actualization phase, conspansive spacetime also provides a distributed mechanism for Intelligent Design, adjoining to the restrictive principle of natural selection a basic means of generating information and complexity. Addressing physical evolution on not only the biological but cosmic level, the CTMU addresses the most evident deficiencies and paradoxes associated with conventional discrete and continuum models of reality, including temporal directionality and accelerating cosmic expansion, while preserving virtually all of the major benefits of current scientific and mathematical paradigms.

I have not arranged the paper chronologically, but under four main headings. Part I contains five papers on methodology concerned with models and measurement in the sciences. This part also contains the first paper I published, 'A Set of Independent Axioms for Extensive Quantities', in Portugaliae Mathematica in 1951. Part 11 also is concerned with methodology and ineludes six papers on probability and utility. It is not always easy to separate papers on probability and utility from papers on measurement, because of the elose connection between the two subjects, but Artieles 6 and 8, even though they have elose relations to measurement, seem more properly to belong in Part 11, because they are concerned with substantive questions about probability and utility. The last two parts are concerned with the foundations of physics and the foundations of psychology. I have used the term foundations rather than philosophy, because the papers are mainly concerned with specific axiomatic formulations for particular parts of physics or of psychology, and it seems to me that the termfoundations more appropriately describes such constructive axiomatic ventures. Part 111 contains four papers on the foundations of physics. The first paper deals with foundations of special relativity and the last three with the role ofprobability in quantum mechanics.
