Le discours, en mobilisant l'ensemble des fonctions cognitives, pourrait mettre en évidence davantage de difficultés. Ce travail vise à analyser des productions de patients et de participants âgés typiques en lien avec les changements cognitifs et cérébraux. Une étude s'est intéressée à la production de discours portant sur des événements personnellement vécus. Une deuxième visait à comparer ce type de discours à un discours sur support imagé. Les résultats montrent que les difficultés rencontrées lors d'un discours d'événements vécus seraient corrélées à l'atteinte mnésique des patients. A l'inverse, elles seraient associées à l'atteinte exécutive et lexicale dans un discours imagé. Une dernière étude s'est focalisée sur la variabilité existant chez les participants âgés "typiques". Une analyse en cluster a montré quatre profils de locuteurs, dont un profil "hors-sujet" qui pourrait refléter une zone ambiguë entre vieillissement normal et pathologique. Ce travail pointe des marqueurs de MA prodromale, en lien avec les modifications cognitives et cérébrales. Certaines difficultés seraient liées à une atteinte mnésique ou exécutive indépendamment de l'altération langagière.

Conduite par un thérapeute, celle-ci implique la participation de l'entourage familial et professionnel. Cet ouvrage est le fruit d'une longue pratique de clinicien et de chercheur dont l'objectif principal est le maintien de la communication entre le malade et ses proches. De récentes revues systématiques de la littérature font cependant état d'une telle hétérogénéité des méthodologies qu'il est difficile-d'en tirer des mesures cibles pour une application clinique. On y recommande des recherches sur une tâche standardisée de description d'images, pourvue de normes, en minimisant la cotation subjective pa l'automatisation des analyses. L'objectif de ce mémoire était d'examiner la relation de l'âge de sujets sans trouble cognitif avec des mesures d'évaluation semi-automatisées du discours lors d'une tâche standardisée de description d'images. Nous avons évalué 40 sujets de 31 à 91 ans. Le test de description d'images était le Montreal Assessment of Connected Speech (MACS). Les transcriptions ont été analysées par le logiciel Computerized Language Analysis (CLAN), fournissant 26 mesures que nous avons classées en domaines de production de la parole, fluidité, contenu sémantique, contenu lexical, et complexité syntaxique. Nos résultats montrent que l'âge est significativement associé à des modifications d'une ou plusieurs mesures dans tous ces domaines. On note par exemple davantage d'erreurs phonologiques, une baisse de la densité des idées, moins de verbes par énoncé, plus de pronoms et moins de noms. Parmi les mesures non corrélées avec l'âge, on relève le débit et la longueur moyenne d'énoncé (LME). Nos résultats concordent partiellement avec ceux de la littérature comparable (densité d'idées ; débit; LME). Nous concluons que ce protocole peut révéler des mesures du discours sensibles au vieillissement normal, qui seront à confirmer avec davantage de sujets et dans des études longitudinales. Sa passation auprès de la population atteinte de la maladie d'Alzheimer permettra d'identifier les mesures différant de la population saine, pour contribuer au dépistage et au suivi de la maladie.

Elle permet de mesurer la qualité informative du langage. Une densité des idées élevée peut refléter l'aptitude d'un locuteur à exprimer efficacement ses idées. Une densité des idées faible peut, quant à elle, révéler un discours peu efficient par l'utilisation d'un plus grand nombre de mots pour exprimer les idées essentielles. La présente étude a pour but d'évaluer la pertinence de ce critère pour distinguer des sujets présentant un vieillissement cognitif normal de ceux présentant une évolution pathologique liée à la maladie d'Alzheimer. Pour ce faire une normalisation a été réalisée. Des mesures de densité des idées de quarante sujets ont été réalisées en fonction de l'âge et du niveau socioculturel. L'effet de la maladie d'Alzheimer sur la densité des idées a ensuite été mesuré chez onze patients. L'expérimentation consiste à recueillir des discours oraux auxquels on attribue un score de densité des idées. Ce score est calculé à l'aide d'un logiciel d'analyse automatique : Densidées. Il se base sur le modèle formel de l'analyse prédicative. Les résultats obtenus attestent que la densité des idées n'est pas affectée par le vieillissement cognitif normal. Cependant, elle est corrélée au niveau socioculturel : les personnes de haut niveau présentent une densité des idées plus élevée que celles de bas niveau. De plus, la densité des idées des patients atteints de la maladie d'Alzheimer est altérée. Elle apparaît dès lors comme un indicateur pertinent de la maladie d'Alzheimer. Elle révèle une altération des capacités cognitives. La densité des idées est donc un champ d'investigation prometteur pour aider au diagnostic et pour mesurer l'avancée de la maladie. Par ailleurs, il serait intéressant de l'étudier pour d'autres pathologies neurodégénératives.

Xinyuan Wang spent 15 months living among a community of these migrants in a small factory town in southeast China to track their use of social media. It was here she witnessed a second migration taking place: a movement from offline to online. Book excerpt: Although the storytelling of any time rewrites itself, rewriting became a primary concern in the literature of the twentieth century, an era characterized as having quoted, reenacted, cannibalized, revised, redone, refurbished, and outright plagiarized the texts of earlier times. The modern obsession with literary reiteration manifests itself in a rather unique way in the narratives of Marguerite Duras, Annie Ernaux, and Marie Redonnet. These authors systematically and repeatedly rewrite their own texts, and in so doing, give evidence of three of the more salient aspects of twentieth-century French literature: a trend toward the representation of multifaceted selves, a desire to reevaluate the literary paradigm, and an acute concern for the unreliability of language. This book argues that the rewriting performed by Duras, Ernaux, and Redonnet moves beyond the tacit rewriting that occurs in any text toward a renovation of various features of the literary arena within which they circulate. Cathy Jellenik argues that all writing contains rewriting - an argument grounded in the theoretical apparatuses of Saussure, Bakhtin, Benveniste, Barthes, Kristeva, and Derrida. She then examines and interrogates the ways in which Duras, Ernaux, and Redonnet use rewriting to question and rethink the literary traditions they inherit. Jellenik suggests that the rewriting projects of Duras, Ernaux, and Redonnet promise to lead them, and their readers, toward the creation of a new literary aesthetic capable of responding to the questions of our times.
