Conviene pues, tener presente ambas facetas para no mezclarlas, y no dejar que una distinta posición filosófico-religiosa afecte a la aceptación o rechazo de la carga científica de la teoría evolutiva. En concreto, las ideas de la nueva teoría de la evolución y Biología Evolutiva giran, por un lado, en torno a los objetivos de la vida como causa directa de los cambios en la información genética y, por otro, en la forma en que éstos se trasmiten a la descendencia. Las propuestas son más próximas conceptualmente a las teorías de Lamarck y de Mendel que a la de Darwin. Nueva teoría de la evolución basada en la tendencia intrínseca de la Vida a mejorar, donde los métodos de evolución dependen de las condiciones particulares de cada caso. Explica la genética de la inteligencia, la memoria y otras funciones cognitivas, cómo y cuándo los genes son dominantes o recesivos, es decir, la significatividad en la expresión genética. Identifica las principales ventajas de la diferenciación sexual.
