Book excerpt: Notre recherche a pour objet d'évaluer de manière objective et subjective la prosodie de l'anglais parlé par des français et de considérer l'apport de l'enseignement assisté par ordinateur. Nous proposons de mettre en évidence les phénomènes d'acquisition d'une L2 pour ensuite focaliser sur les problèmes d'acquisition de la prosodie de celle-ci. Des notions importantes ressortent : les difficultés des apprenants liées à la perception et à la production de la L2 puis le manque d'outils pédagogiques. Pour compléter cette étude, nous analysons les différences prosodiques majeures entre le français et l'anglais afin d'étalir une liste des interférences éventuelles entre ces deux langues. Au terme de ces réflexions, nous proposons une méthode d'apprentissage de la prosodie anglaise assistée par ordinateur. Cette méthode est testée sur 6 mois et donne lieu à deux axes de recherche : d'une part une évaluation subjective de la prosodie de l'anglais parlé par des français, d'autre part une évaluation objective qui permet de corréler le niveau d'un apprenant français avec les paramètres prosodiques pertinents. Par conséquent, à l'issue de ce travail, nous proposons une grille d'évaluation de la prosodie anglaise. Nos résultats sur les deux évaluations valident nos hypothè́ses : l'efficacité d'une méthode d'appentissage de la prosodie assistée par ordinateur, basée sur la visualisation et l'audition simultanée, ainsi que la possibilité de quantifier les paramètres prosodiques. L'ensemble des résultats confirme la nécessité d'enseigner la prosodie afin de faire progresser l'oral des français, et d'appronfondir les recherches puis trouver d'autres paramètres prosodiques quantifiables et donc d'améliorer la pertinence de l'enseignement de la prosodie anglaise assisté par ordinateur
