Book ESTIMATION NON PARAMETRIQUE DE LA DENSITE CONDITIONNELLE PAR LA METHODE DU NOYAU

Download or read book ESTIMATION NON PARAMETRIQUE DE LA DENSITE CONDITIONNELLE PAR LA METHODE DU NOYAU written by ELIE.. YOUNDJE and published by . This book was released on 1993 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DANS CE TRAVAIL NOUS NOUS INTERESSONS AUX ASPECTS THEORIQUE ET PRATIQUE DE L'ESTIMATION D'UNE DENSITE CONDITIONNELLE PAR LA METHODE DU NOYAU. DANS UN PREMIER TEMPS NOUS CONSIDERONS LES PROPRIETES ASYMPTOTIQUES DE L'ESTIMATEUR A NOYAU. CES PROPRIETES DEPENDENT ESSENTIELLEMENT DU PARAMETRE DE LISSAGE ET DE LA REGULARITE DE LA DENSITE CONDITIONNELLE. NOUS MONTRONS QUE, COMME DANS LA PLUPART DES PROBLEMES D'ESTIMATION FONCTIONNELLE, LE CHOIX DU PARAMETRE DE LISSAGE JOUE UN ROLE CRUCIAL DANS LE COMPORTEMENT ASYMPTOTIQUE DE L'ESTIMATEUR. DANS UN SECOND TEMPS, NOUS ABORDONS DANS LE CADRE D'UN ECHANTILLON I.I.D., LE PROBLEME DE LA SELECTION DU PARAMETRE DE LISSAGE. ENSUITE NOUS GENERALISONS LES RESULTATS OBTENUS AU CAS D'OBSERVATIONS DEPENDANTES (MELANGE FORT OU A-MELANGE). PLUS PRECISEMENT, NOUS PROPOSONS UN CRITERE DE SELECTION DE LA LARGEUR DE FENETRE BASE SUR LA VALIDATION CROISEE. UN RESULTAT D'OPTIMALITE DE LA FENETRE SELECTIONNEE EST ETABLI. LES RESULTATS THEORIQUES OBTENUS CONCERNANT LE CHOIX DE LA FENETRE SONT ILLUSTRES PAR DES SIMULATIONS SUR DES ECHANTILLONS I.I.D.

This book was released on 2014-08-06 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Introduction l estimation non param trique written by Alexandre B. Tsybakov and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2003-09-05 with total page 196 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Semiparametric Theory and Missing Data

Download or read book Semiparametric Theory and Missing Data written by Anastasios Tsiatis and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2007-01-15 with total page 392 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book summarizes current knowledge regarding the theory of estimation for semiparametric models with missing data, in an organized and comprehensive manner. It starts with the study of semiparametric methods when there are no missing data. The description of the theory of estimation for semiparametric models is both rigorous and intuitive, relying on geometric ideas to reinforce the intuition and understanding of the theory. These methods are then applied to problems with missing, censored, and coarsened data with the goal of deriving estimators that are as robust and efficient as possible.

Book Effective Actuarial Methods

Download or read book Effective Actuarial Methods written by M. J. Goovaerts and published by North Holland. This book was released on 1990 with total page 342 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: During the last two decades actuarial research has developed in a more applied direction. Although the original risk models generally served as convenient and sometimes tractable mathematical examples of general probabilistic and/or statistical theories, nowadays models and techniques are encountered that can be considered to be typically actuarial. Examples include ordering of risks by dangerousness, credibility theory and techniques based on IBNR models. Not only does this book present the underlying mathematics of these subjects, but it also deals with the practical application of the techniques. In order to provide results based on real insurance portfolios, use is made of three software packages, namely SLIC performing stop-loss insurance calculations for individual and collective risk models, CRAC dealing with actuarial applications of credibility theory, and LORE giving IBNR-based estimates for loss reserves. Worked-out examples illustrate the theoretical results. This book is intended for use in preparing university actuarial exams, and contains many exercises with varying levels of complexity. It is valuable as a textbook for students in actuarial sciences during their last year of study. Due to the emphasis on applications and because of the worked-out examples on real portfolio data, it is also useful for practising actuaries to guide them in interpreting their own results.

Book Historical Dictionary of Pakistan

Download or read book Historical Dictionary of Pakistan written by Shahid Javed Burki and published by . This book was released on 1999 with total page 472 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Pakistan is unlike most other countries in the emerging world. It is one of the two nations – the other being the state of Israel – founded on the basis of religion. Although it was created to provide a homeland for the Muslim community of British India, in its original form it was able to accommodate only about half of the people of Islamic faith who lived in the subcontinent. Pakistan’s birth in 1947 resulted in one of the largest movements of people in human history when some 14 million people left their homes, with 8 million Muslims leaving India for what is now Pakistan and 6 million Hindus and Sikhs moving in the opposite direction. This was the first large-scale incidence of ethnic cleansing the world was to witness. --
