Queremos aprovechar de agradecer la inquietud que tuvo el Doctor Felipe Ruz Ángel quien impulsó esta iniciativa de perfeccionamiento orientado a una de las ramas de la asignatura de Matemáticas de enseñanza media donde se observan muchas carencias en los profesores, con la idea detrás de aportar con un grano de arena a la formación de profesores desde nuestra experticia. Se agradece además a los autores de cada capítulo, por el esfuerzo y energía puesta en sus trabajos de forma que el resultado obtenido sirva a otros docentes del país e Iberoamérica. Y, por último, reconocer a todos los expertos en estadística y/o en didáctica de la estadística que han realizado la labor de revisar acuciosamente cada uno de los capítulos.
