Book Persona 5 Strikers Walkthrough

Download or read book Persona 5 Strikers Walkthrough written by John A Joseph and published by . This book was released on 2021-03 with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The omega force and P-studio made game is an action packed one taking scenes from dynasty warriors and its predecessor, Persona 5. The game, published by Atlus, follows the story that happens six months after its predecessor. The storyline centers around the joker and the remaining characters finding out about bizarre things happening all over Japan. The game was originally designed for release on PS4 last year but the windows version was only made available recently. The game has so many hidden features to the fighting therein. You can add more strength to the characters by defeating the ones in the arena. After the first six hours of getting around the arena, you will start enjoying the features. The catch is that you have to see your character find their way through hordes of angry enemies and sometimes going against much larger opponents with scary persona and health status. You will fight in a group of four players and you can switch controls seamlessly. You can also call on your personnel for unique attacks. In the game, you must know that the enemies come with various strengths and weaknesses. For instance, the huge knights in armours have their Achilles heel in ice attacks. As for the small fairies, you'll find out that their weakness lies in fire. The good thing about summoning personas is that the game will be paused and you will be able to look out for the best attack and the effect area. The all-out attack concept from its predecessor also continues in this version. This effect makes all the soldiers to get into a rage mode and attack everything in a large area. As a way of chipping in some quick tips, you must be aware of the characters with full health, the strength and weaknesses of everyone and do not over use one character. Book Bullshit Jobs

Download or read book Bullshit Jobs written by David Graeber and published by Simon & Schuster. This book was released on 2019-05-07 with total page 368 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From bestselling writer David Graeber—“a master of opening up thought and stimulating debate” (Slate)—a powerful argument against the rise of meaningless, unfulfilling jobs…and their consequences. Does your job make a meaningful contribution to the world? In the spring of 2013, David Graeber asked this question in a playful, provocative essay titled “On the Phenomenon of Bullshit Jobs.” It went viral. After one million online views in seventeen different languages, people all over the world are still debating the answer. There are hordes of people—HR consultants, communication coordinators, telemarketing researchers, corporate lawyers—whose jobs are useless, and, tragically, they know it. These people are caught in bullshit jobs. Graeber explores one of society’s most vexing and deeply felt concerns, indicting among other villains a particular strain of finance capitalism that betrays ideals shared by thinkers ranging from Keynes to Lincoln. “Clever and charismatic” (The New Yorker), Bullshit Jobs gives individuals, corporations, and societies permission to undergo a shift in values, placing creative and caring work at the center of our culture. This book is for everyone who wants to turn their vocation back into an avocation and “a thought-provoking examination of our working lives” (Financial Times).

Download or read book Technics and Civilization written by Lewis Mumford and published by University of Chicago Press. This book was released on 2010-10-30 with total page 524 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Technics and Civilization first presented its compelling history of the machine and critical study of its effects on civilization in 1934—before television, the personal computer, and the Internet even appeared on our periphery. Drawing upon art, science, philosophy, and the history of culture, Lewis Mumford explained the origin of the machine age and traced its social results, asserting that the development of modern technology had its roots in the Middle Ages rather than the Industrial Revolution. Mumford sagely argued that it was the moral, economic, and political choices we made, not the machines that we used, that determined our then industrially driven economy. Equal parts powerful history and polemic criticism, Technics and Civilization was the first comprehensive attempt in English to portray the development of the machine age over the last thousand years—and to predict the pull the technological still holds over us today. “The questions posed in the first paragraph of Technics and Civilization still deserve our attention, nearly three quarters of a century after they were written.”—Journal of Technology and Culture

  • Pages : 194 pages

Download or read book Normal Life written by Dean Spade and published by Duke University Press. This book was released on 2015-07-23 with total page 194 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Revised and Expanded Edition Wait—what's wrong with rights? It is usually assumed that trans and gender nonconforming people should follow the civil rights and "equality" strategies of lesbian and gay rights organizations by agitating for legal reforms that would ostensibly guarantee nondiscrimination and equal protection under the law. This approach assumes that the best way to address the poverty and criminalization that plague trans populations is to gain legal recognition and inclusion in the state's institutions. But is this strategy effective? In Normal Life Dean Spade presents revelatory critiques of the legal equality framework for social change, and points to examples of transformative grassroots trans activism that is raising demands that go beyond traditional civil rights reforms. Spade explodes assumptions about what legal rights can do for marginalized populations, and describes transformative resistance processes and formations that address the root causes of harm and violence. In the new afterword to this revised and expanded edition, Spade notes the rapid mainstreaming of trans politics and finds that his predictions that gaining legal recognition will fail to benefit trans populations are coming to fruition. Spade examines recent efforts by the Obama administration and trans equality advocates to "pinkwash" state violence by articulating the US military and prison systems as sites for trans inclusion reforms. In the context of recent increased mainstream visibility of trans people and trans politics, Spade continues to advocate for the dismantling of systems of state violence that shorten the lives of trans people. Now more than ever, Normal Life is an urgent call for justice and trans liberation, and the radical transformations it will require.
