L'expérimentation a été très large puisqu'elle a concerné plusieurs centaines d'enfants d'origines socioculturelles diverses, ainsi que des équipes enseignantes aux projets pédagogiques affirmés. Les résultats ont dépassé les attentes des enseignants et des chercheurs, tant dans l'exploration de l'ordinateur, que dans l'appréhension de la langue écrite. L'expérience ainsi acquise s'est étendue dès la première année de diffusion dans près de 2 000 écoles de la francophonie.
