A estas dos obras se las concibe como escalones que llevan hacia una nueva consciencia holística del cosmos, una consciencia que excede a las explicaciones que son únicamente intelectuales sino que implica otro tipo de vivencia del ser, del estar-en-el-mundo, de representar nuestro rol como culturas en el planeta. En tal sentido, a lo largo de esta obra se propondrán las claves cognitivas y conceptuales para ampliar la concepción filosófica y antropológica de definiciones y conceptos referidos a la visión del ambiente. Asimismo, en este libro se analizará la concepción de "ambiente" en las distintas Épocas asociadas a distintas etapas en el cambio cultural de la Humanidad. Además, es necesario señalar que el "ambiente" constituye una categoría cognitiva y conceptual tan amplia como compleja y multifactorial, tangible e intangible. Y que en la segunda mitad del siglo XX, el surgimiento de un conjunto de problemáticas ecológicas derivadas de los efectos antrópicos sobre el entorno lo volvieron un objeto complejo que se hizo cada vez más visible y sólido a la vez que infinito e inasible, una entidad presente en la vida cotidiana pero que excede la representaciones psíquicas por su alto grado de complejidad en sí mismo. El "ambiente" se volvió la neonaturaleza del ciudadano global del ciudadano del siglo XXI. Y, además, se explicará por qué ha colapsado el paradigma de Era Ambiental – la época actual – y los fundamentos del surgimiento de una nueva época, la Era Gaiana.

It is about understanding the structural causes of self-destruction to finally thinking better and then going from pessimism to optimism. It is a deep look at the city from an unconventional entrance, because it is about knowing and analyzing what the city loses by the action deployed by own urbanites, both in the field of its production and in the field of its consumption. This suppose that the city does not have an ascending linear sequential evolution in its development but neither in each of its parts in the improvement process, showing the face that commonly not seen but others live. The category used for this purpose is that of Urbicidio or the death of the city, which contributes theoretically and methodologically to the knowledge of the city, as well as to the design of urban policies that neutralize it.
