Book C Mo Es Dios y Qu Es el Hombre

Download or read book C Mo Es Dios y Qu Es el Hombre written by Jes Enr Quez Rubio and published by Palibrio. This book was released on 2012-10 with total page 391 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book The Pope Who Was Murdered

Download or read book The Pope Who Was Murdered written by JesAos LA3pez SA!ez and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2023-11-14 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author addresses in this book two important novelties, and they are not the only ones. The official biography of the beatification process (2018) brings a fact hidden for forty years: The doctor who had to make the diagnosis about the unexpected death of Pope John Paul I was denied an autopsy. Moreover, the gangster Anthony S. Luciano Raimondi, in his book When the Bullet Hits the Bone (2019), confesses that he was called by Archbishop Marcinkus, president of the Vatican Bank, to eliminate the pope "painlessly." Marcinkus administered the cyanide, and he only advised and accompanied. What happened? September 4, 2022: John Paul I is beatified in St. Peter's Square. He is beatified for his "ordinary holiness"--that is, because he was good, which no one doubts. However, it is hidden how he died and why. He is beatified, but justice is not done to him. There is maneuvering, concealment, and lying. Meanwhile, people keep on saying, "The pope they killed." The majority of Latin American bishops are convinced that Albino Luciani died, murdered (Serafini), and the world contemplates once again the Vatican scandal. The question is this: How to qualify a beatification that hides a murder?

Book El Misterio de Jes s de Nazaret

Download or read book El Misterio de Jes s de Nazaret written by Francisco Fernández-Carvajal and published by Palabra. This book was released on 2013-11-13 with total page 450 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Jes s y el enigma de los templarios written by Mariano José Vázquez Alonso and published by EDAF. This book was released on 2005 with total page 262 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: David Friedrich Strauss's Das Leben Jesu kritisch bearbeitet (1835) brought about a new dawn in Biblical criticism by applying the 'myth theory' to the life of Jesus. Strauss treated the Gospel narrative like any other historical work, and denied all supernatural elements in the Gospels. Das Leben Jesu created an overnight sensation and Strauss became embroiled in fierce controversy. This earliest English version of 1846 was translated by the novelist George Eliot, and was her first published book.

Book Luke the Historian of Israel s Legacy Theologian of Israel s Christ

Download or read book Luke the Historian of Israel s Legacy Theologian of Israel s Christ written by David Paul Moessner and published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH & Co KG. This book was released on 2016-07-25 with total page 388 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: David Moessner proposes a new understanding of the relation of Luke’s second volume to his Gospel to open up a whole new reading of Luke’s foundational contribution to the New Testament. For postmodern readers who find Acts a ‘generic outlier,’ dangling tenuously somewhere between the ‘mainland’ of the evangelists and the ‘Peloponnese’ of Paul—diffused and confused and shunted to the backwaters of the New Testament by these signature corpora—Moessner plunges his readers into the hermeneutical atmosphere of Greek narrative poetics and elaboration of multi-volume works to inhale the rhetorical swells that animate Luke’s first readers in their engagement of his narrative. In this collection of twelve of his essays, re-contextualized and re-organized into five major topical movements, Moessner showcases multiple Hellenistic texts and rhetorical tropes to spotlight the various signals Luke provides his readers of the multiple ways his Acts will follow "all that Jesus began to do and to teach" (Acts 1:1) and, consequently, bring coherence to this dominant block of the New Testament that has long been split apart. By collapsing the world of Jesus into the words and deeds of his followers, Luke re-configures the significance of Israel’s "Christ" and the "Reign" of Israel’s God for all peoples and places to create a new account of ‘Gospel Acts,’ discrete and distinctively different than the "narrative" of the "many" (Luke 1:1). Luke the Historian of Israel’s Legacy combines what no analysis of the Lukan writings has previously accomplished, integrating seamlessly two ‘generically-estranged’ volumes into one new whole from the intent of the one composer. For Luke is the Hellenistic historian and simultaneously ‘biblical’ theologian who arranges the one "plan of God" read from the script of the Jewish scriptures—parts and whole, severally and together—as the saving ‘script’ for the whole world through Israel’s suffering and raised up "Christ," Jesus of Nazareth. In the introductions to each major theme of the essays, this noted scholar of the Lukan writings offers an epitome of the main features of Luke’s theological ‘thought,’ and, in a final Conclusions chapter, weaves together a comprehensive synthesis of this new reading of the whole.
