Et pour que l'histoire ne soit pas sans paroles, elle fait appel à Yvan Schneiderlin, rédacteur indépendant à la plume colorée, pour réaliser 25 portraits. Comme son collègue photographe, Yvan n'est pas un familier du monde scientifique. Libre de musarder là où des experts ne se seraient sans doute jamais faufilés, il n'en rend que plus humains toutes ces femmes et ces hommes qui font la science de demain.
