Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In America, our stores are full of goods “made in China”—in the Home Depots, Macy’s, Walmarts, Targets, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy’s, furniture stores, shoe stores, apparel stores, etc. Also, all sorts of electronic goods ranging from Apple iPhones, iPads, Mac books, other computers, TV sets; even steel, some cars; and pharmaceuticals—a lot of these we order online and in Amazon—all are made in China. As a result of all these, the American people’s money, jobs, industries/factories, manufacturing skills, and know-how are lost to China. Thus, China has become richer with American people’s money while America becomes poorer; China becomes stronger while America becomes weaker. China’s military power around the world rises, whereas America’s power is reduced. China also steals American research, technology, intellectual property through its students attending American universities and colleges. If this situation is not reversed China will terrorize America and the world. This book is about reversing that situation.

Demonstrating how the corporate food system destroys those systems based on local markets, local cultures, and biodiversity, this account highlights howit puts the profits of the few before the needs of people and leads to massive food safety incidents, environmental destruction, labor exploitation, and the decimation of rural communities. Download or read book A Reference Grammar of Caijia written by Shanshan Lü and published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH & Co KG. This book was released on 2022-10-24 with total page 628 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Caijia, [meŋ21ni33ŋoŋ33] ‘Caijia speech’, is an endangered language in the Sino-Tibetan family with less than 1000 speakers in Hezhang and Weining counties in northwest in Guizhou Province in Southwest China. Its sub-classification remains unclear. It was almost four decades ago when the Caijia language was officially reported for the first time in 1982 by the Language Team of Bureau of Ethnic Identification in Bijie, yet this language has nevertheless remained neither well-described nor studied. This book, a linguistic description of the Xingfa variety of Caijia based on the fieldwork data in Xingfa township of Hezhang county, is the first reference grammar of the Caijia language, covering its sound system, word formation, parts of speech and syntactic structures in fifteen chapters. Being analytic, Caijia presents many common grammatical features attested in East and Southeast Asian languages, for example, compounds, quadrisyllabic idiomatic expressions or elaborate expressions, lack of inflection, a classifier system, a strong relationship between nominalization and relativization, pro-drop and grammaticalization of verbs. Moreover, Caijia shares more similarities with Sinitic languages. Apart from these common areal features, this book will also reveal some special features of Caijia.

The judges and the judiciary and education are not here to promote party politics—they are here to promote their professions. Only The President, federal legislature, state legislatures and city councils can be political party based elective positions—none other.
