The delightful characters waltz through the plot, aiding and abetting the star-crossed lovers. Once the reader's attention is caught, the wonderful twists and turns come to light and the story starts to unfold and come alive. It is one of the few romances that I have read where the ending is unpredictable; instead, it is one of the most interesting and unexpected endings to the story that I have ever read. The book has been written with sensitivity, humor, and care, which makes it believable and real and helps the reader relate to the characters and events. It was a wonderfully light read that made the rest of my week enjoyable as memories of what took place kept dancing through my mind. I look forward to reading another book by author Verna Clay.
