El punto clave del desarrollo se encuentra en la distribución de importancia usada para muestrear. en este sentido, se presentan distintas alternativas en función de las distribuciones que definen el modelo y el orden en que se consideren. en el capitulo iv comenzaremos mostrando las ventajas e inconvenientes de los métodos exactos y aproximados y terminaremos presentando un método hibrido de ambos métodos. Igualmente se presenta en dicho estudio una técnica de simplificación de árboles de universos.
