The acceptability of the imported seed subject to the Federal Seed Act is determined, records are kept of forage-plant seeds imported into the country, and data on the interstate Shipment of fraudulently misbranded seed is considered for the purpose of determining the most appropriate and effective means of im proving the quality of seed in commerce.
