Book excerpt: This final report provides an overview of the major activities for our research program on the topic of diffusion and defect chemistry of mercury cadmium telluride (MCT; Hg1-xCdxTe). In this study, we have measured tracer self-diffusion and interdiffusion coefficients in the MCT system. This provides a basis for proposed defect models for this system.
