Enfin, le dernier chapitre est consacré à la réalisation d'un simulateur mixte dont la partie numérique est un simulateur VHDL. Cette réalisation repose sur une approche de description qui permet d'utiliser la souplesse de description structurelle de VHDL pour des systèmes analogiques et mixtes

Le deuxième est un pixel passif associé à un circuit d’intégration. A travers cette étude, une méthodologie de modélisation et de simulation de capteurs d’images mixtes et multi-domaines est proposée. Cette méthode permet de prédire le comportement de tels circuits avant de procéder à leur réalisation ce qui réduit avantageusement leur coût de fabrication et leur temps de mise sur le marché.

VHDL-AMS is a language that is well standardized for time domain simulations and verifications. But it has become increasingly important to analyze and simulate models in frequency in an effort to be able to perform microwave and RF simulations. Hardware description languages and their simulators are needed to model and simulate mixed time/frequency systems. The requirement of having a simulator that performs frequency domain simulation along with time domain simulation has always been a major need and is necessitated by the enormous number of frequency variable circuits that have come to the market today. Although VHDL-AMS language provides the ability to model systems over a wide range of physical domains, it is primarily a time-domain language. As a result, frequency-dependent features are poorly supported. This thesis presents research in mixed time/frequency domain simulation where models, written in an extended VHDL-AMS (for frequency), can be specified and simulated in time, frequency or both. Furthermore the ability to convert models in time to frequency and simulate them in frequency, which is detailed in this thesis, increases the simulator's scope and functionality. Joint time-frequency analyses, the ability to analyze and simulate a model in both time and frequency, is also been dealt with in this thesis in an effort to present a complete general purpose simulator.
