Book excerpt: You're already in a war. It's time to fight. This book will equip you with tools to protect the five fronts of spiritual battle: your relationship with God, your identity, your family and friends, your church, and the world. Win Your War is a practical marriage, parenting, and relationship book that is grounded in the Word of God and focused on recognizing Satan's role in your life. Mark and Grace Driscoll help you understand the power Jesus gives you to overcome the enemy's attacks. Mark and Grace Driscoll look at the nature of spiritual warfare in response to Adam and Eve. God has a kingdom where His people are governed by the Spirit. Satan has the world, where his people are governed by the flesh. Spiritual warfare is the battle between these two realities in everything, including our identity, temptation, gender, marriage, and emotional well-being. Some years ago Mark Driscoll preached on the Book of Genesis and discovered an unexpected theme about spiritual warfare that works itself out in all of human history: the storyline of the Bible is that there is first a wedding and then a war. Satan did not show up until a man and woman were married and had a ministry call on their lives. The first thing he did was attack marriage and separate men and women. After reading this book, you will uncover the five fronts of spiritual battle: your relationship with God, your identity, your family and friends, your church, and the world. He found her, and she won’t get away a second time. -Renegade- One woman, and three years without her, is all it took for me to go from Jekyll to Hyde. Three years ago, we busted another club for kidnapping and raping girls. One of those girls was my President’s cousin. Another was Raylynn. Blindfolded, tied down, and beaten until there was hardly anything left, I freed her and wrapped her in my arms, knowing damn well she’d captured me, and I never wanted to let her go. Then, she disappeared . . . and took everything good about me with her. The road of self-destruction has been a chaotic one, and my President finally hit his breaking point with me. What’s supposed to be a relaxing vacation to the North Carolina coast ends up being me coming face-to-face with the beautiful redhead that’s haunted both my fantasies and nightmares for all these years. Raylynn has secrets of her own, but I’m not giving her a chance to run this time. She’s gonna face the music whether she likes it or not because I need her as my ol’ lady. It doesn’t matter what she’s been through— we’re perfect together. She’d see it if she’d just give us a chance. Raylynn thinks her darkness makes her unworthy, but I’m going to prove that nothing could be farther from the truth. Our demons aren’t our downfall. Together— they’re the perfect dance partners.

Book Breaking Strongholds of the Devil Satan

Download or read book Breaking Strongholds of the Devil Satan written by Donald Evans and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2023-02-27 with total page 431 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The devil's strongholds originated in the spirit realm. Satan, the devil, has many ways of creating and holding a person in a certain condition to benefit his purposes and cause in the world. Once he sets his plan, it's going to be carried out by the individual regardless of being a Christian; believer or nonbeliever, it makes no difference. He has a way to hold individuals to his cause, whether it's delayed or not; his method of holding persons under his control is even greater among Christians. Why is that? Because most Christians believe they are "exempt" from the devil's strongholds. Big mistake! No one is exempt from the forces of evil, whose strongholds are among the highest level of evil and wickedness in the spiritual realm. A person can bind themselves in a stronghold without having any knowledge; it's not Satan but their spirit of perception, which is as real, active, and alive as the person themselves, for which Satan, the devil, gets the credit and blame. The spirit of perception of the mind is more powerful than the world acknowledges. The spirit of perception can hold a person in restraint forever without changing their perception. The world does not acknowledge or consider the spirit of perception is the culprit, which Satan feeds off, and that holds the world, the entire world, in total darkness! Satan is the god of this world and its system of things, which he controls because of the world's lack of knowledge of strongholds. Most of the world population does not know what a stronghold really represents in all human lives. No one is exempt from strongholds, which can bind a person until death! This book, Breaking Strongholds of the Devil Satan, shall give some light to the world about how strongholds bind persons for lifetimes. He or she can be set free of any and all strongholds in minutes where others have been held a lifetime and died.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Luke’s Gospel reveals God among men in His saving grace given to fallen mankind. Its purpose is to present the Savior as a genuine, normal, and perfect man. It gives a complete genealogy of the man Jesus, from His parents back to Adam, the first generation of mankind, and shows that He is a genuine descendant of man—a son of man. Its record of the life of this man impresses us with the completeness and perfection of His humanity. Hence, this Gospel stresses the Lord as the Man-Savior. In contrast to Matthew, Luke does not stress the dispensational aspect or the Jewish background. It is the Gospel written to mankind in general, and it announces the good news to all people. Its characteristic is absolutely not Jewish, but Gentile. It is a Gospel to all sinners, both Jewish and Gentile. Since it is such, the sequence of its record is according to morality, not according to historical events.

Book The Gathering

Download or read book The Gathering written by Gail D. Prentice and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2016-06-21 with total page 398 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What a shame, General Moshe whispered to his Corporal of the Guard. What a shame. It seems like just last week, this house of glory was full of music and praise. People were on their knees before God, praying for this community. They were fighting a battle and winning, Corporal Joabi reminisced. Yes, they were winning, but they just didnt realize it. The battle was fierce and the enemy had brought in Doubt and Apathy, two of their strongest warriors to infiltrate here. It wasnt long before the pastor was silenced because Doubt had begun to make headway within some of the congregation. When they were not seeing great strides forward, they began to doubt whether the work was worth continuing. The people quit praying and decided that they were not qualified to tell others about our Lord Jesus. They left all witnessing to the pastor and things went south from there. Some of the other congregations decided that if they made programs for everything, that all would be fine. They started a Monday night dinner program, a youth group that was very liberal in their teaching, and Bible studies that manifested themselves as social events more than a time to study the Word of God. They were more impressed with the social and financial status of the church than they were by the basic foundation of salvation. Numbers on the membership roll were more important than the number of people delivered from their sin. Profitability of the members was more vital than the righteousness and holiness of the Saints. It wasnt long before the Christians that attended there began to involve sin into their business practices because it was very lucrative, and as long as it was financially enhancing, it was no longer sin. Apathy had effectively made his move in the community. Boredom and indifference began to sweep through the churches and town like a wildfire, despite the pastors attempts to keep the church alive with Gods Holy Spirit. The community as a whole had embraced Doubt and Apathy as trusted leaders within the other churches, and the rest is history. Now we have an empty church as a painful monument of defeat.

Book We Live and Cohabitate with Spirit Beings

Download or read book We Live and Cohabitate with Spirit Beings written by Donald Evans and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-01-14 with total page 428 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We cohabitate with another race of beings, a people which the world won’t acknowledge. These are demons which are invisible spirit beings not made of flesh and blood which the movie industry portrays as monsters. These spirit persons or demons are the highest intelligent beings far more intelligent than any earthly being with all human characteristics. They were once angelic sons of Jehovah God. They consisted of one-third of the angelic sons. They conspired against their Creator God, along with their leader Lucifer, who was once an angelic son of God, a cherub of high ranking. They all were expelled and casted out of heaven down to earth. They became enemies of God and the human race. They became an invisible race of beings—demons or spirit persons but without bodies! The once angelic sons of God and Lucifer became demons. Lucifer was the first to make himself a demon and then became Satan, the devil, the chief of demons who now walk the earth transitioning as a real human being yet spirit cohabitating with the human race as a real person. The demons, the other beings, are also cohabitating as spirit persons just as you and I are spirit beings with bodies. However, thy are without bodies, not of flesh and blood. Demons are those wicked, evil spirit persons that exist throughout the world as demon spirits! Satan is the only demon who possesses transitional power to transition to a visible spirit person just as you and me, and transition back to spirit. This I’ve witnessed. The other one-third wicked spirit persons do not possess such power; however, demons possess superhuman strength and the highest intelligence of any human being. Yet these spirit persons or demons remain invisible to human eyes on earth. They are here to steal, kill, and destroy human lives by any means. Therefore, the entire world needs to know how to defend itself against a demonic attack, an attack which can’t be seen but feel and see the effect of. Persons by the multitudes are under attack by demonic powers and influences without any knowledge of what’s going on or any knowledge of what they are up against in the spiritual world. Many do not know or recognize whether it’s mentally or physically. Either one is as serious as the other. Also, multitudes aren’t aware of a spirit world! The world, the entire world, needs to know, to be educated of demonology. Children of God, the world, it can’t be stressed strong enough, the entire world, it’s imperative to be spiritually educated of demonology. It is essential and imperative that all humans are made aware that they live and cohabitate amongst evil, wicked spirit persons, the invisible enemies that are here to hurt or harm all of mankind. Age and gender are no exceptions!
