Book Deep State Defector

Download or read book Deep State Defector written by Rahul Manchanda and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2017-12-05 with total page 334 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rahul Manchanda spent his entire life within the belly of the proverbial beast—that is, within the secret power structure of the United States and the international community, where he was culled and prepped for bigger and better things within a leadership role in the Deep State/New World Order. Along the way, he grew both alarmed and shocked at just how myopic and short-sighted these Deep State/New World Order types really were and how either inadvertently or purposefully the results of their clandestine and secretive plans of global “divide and conquer” often led to misery, genocide, death, racism, destruction of the family unit, wasted money, constant warfare, terrorism, and a frustration of the ideals of America as enshrined by the Founding Fathers within the U.S. Constitution. A philosophical and ideological founder of the Anonymous movement, with one of his own Associate Attorneys going on to start/lead the Occupy Wall Street/99% Movement at Zuccotti Park in Lower Manhattan, he published vast amounts of political/deep state exposing articles anonymously until he was targeted by federal/state/local government mixed in conjunction with organized crime/foreign/domestic espionage and Edward Snowden revealed that there was no anonymity on the internet, whereupon Mr. Manchanda started writing and publishing his essays using his real name and identity. The articles contained in this book are some of those articles written under his real name. His book takes us on a journey to expose some of these conspiracies and plots within the U.S. Judicial Court and Legal System, foreign and domestic policy, non-governmental organizations, finance and economics, international relations, history, and religion while sometimes analyzing many of the leading culprits in their ruthless and bloodthirsty quests for a Deep State New World Order, and tries to bring attention to the plots and plans, cautioning the governed about their governors. History only repeats itself if the people are uninformed, and his book tries to ensure that we as the human race do not fall into the existential pitfalls of ignorance but rather move into a future of enlightenment and learning from past historical mistakes in order to strengthen and preserve our freedoms into eternity.

In this new installment, Attorney Manchanda takes note of recent happenings within the federal and state courts, mainstream media, technology, international relations and diplomacy, domestic and foreign policy, nongovernmental organizations, and other areas in order to break down and analyze their meaning within the context of the US Constitution, the freedom and liberty envisioned by the founding fathers. As in his previous book, Rahul Manchanda breaks down and analyzes the conspiracies, institutional corruption, and redundancies within these areas so that the reader can easily recognize, and see clearly, what the obstacles to world peace and prosperity are and identifies the culprits who stand in the way of personal freedom and self-determination.

Book The American Deep State

Download or read book The American Deep State written by Peter Dale Scott and published by Rowman & Littlefield. This book was released on 2017-05-02 with total page 355 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Now in a new edition updated through the unprecedented 2016 presidential election, this provocative book makes a compelling case for a hidden “deep state” that influences and often opposes official U.S. policies. Prominent political analyst Peter Dale Scott begins by tracing America’s increasing militarization, restrictions on constitutional rights, and income disparity since World War II. With the start of the Cold War, he argues, the U.S. government changed immensely in both function and scope, from protecting and nurturing a relatively isolated country to assuming ever-greater responsibility for controlling world politics in the name of freedom and democracy. This has resulted in both secretive new institutions and a slow but radical change in the American state itself. He argues that central to this historic reversal were seismic national events, ranging from the assassination of President Kennedy to 9/11. Scott marshals compelling evidence that the deep state is now partly institutionalized in non-accountable intelligence agencies like the CIA and NSA, but it also extends its reach to private corporations like Booz Allen Hamilton and SAIC, to which 70 percent of intelligence budgets are outsourced. Behind these public and private institutions is the influence of Wall Street bankers and lawyers, allied with international oil companies beyond the reach of domestic law. Undoubtedly the political consensus about America’s global role has evolved, but if we want to restore the country’s traditional constitutional framework, it is important to see the role of particular cabals—such as the Project for the New American Century—and how they have repeatedly used the secret powers and network of Continuity of Government (COG) planning to implement change. Yet the author sees the deep state polarized between an establishment and a counter-establishment in a chaotic situation that may actually prove more hopeful for U.S. democracy.

Book excerpt: The bestselling author of Leaving Berlin and Istanbul Passage “continues to demonstrate that he is up there with the very best...of spy thriller writers” (The Times, UK) with this “fascinating” (The Washington Post) novel about two brothers bound by blood but divided by loyalty. In 1949, Frank Weeks, agent of the newly formed CIA, was exposed as a Communist spy and fled the country to vanish behind the Iron Curtain. Now, twelve years later, he has written his memoirs, a KGB- approved project almost certain to be an international bestseller, and has asked his brother Simon, a publisher, to come to Moscow to edit the manuscript. It’s a reunion Simon both dreads and longs for. The book is sure to be filled with mischief and misinformation; Frank’s motives suspect, the CIA hostile. But the chance to see Frank, his adored older brother, proves irresistible. And at first Frank is still Frank—the same charm, the same jokes, the same bond of affection that transcends ideology. Then Simon begins to glimpse another Frank, capable of treachery and actively working for “the service.” He finds himself dragged into the middle of Frank’s new scheme, caught between the KGB and the CIA in a fatal cat and mouse game that only one of the brothers is likely to survive. “A finely paced Cold War thriller with [Kanon’s] usual flair for atmospheric detail, intriguing characters, and suspenseful action” (Library Journal), Defectors takes us to the heart of a world of secrets, where even the people we know best can’t be trusted and murder is just collateral damage.

Book excerpt: The U.S. spends ten times more on the political circus leading up to elections than any other country, but what are they getting for all of that money? The truth, as Mike Lofgren reveals in this devastating takedown of beltway business, is that U.S. elected leaders provide a fig leaf for those who really hold the levers of power; the unelected functionaries of ever-growing bureaucracies who decide America's defence, intelligence and foreign policy, and the corporate titans who control them. A shocking expose from someone who spend 3 decades in congress.

Download or read book Dallas 63 written by Peter Dale Scott and published by Open Road Media. This book was released on 2015-09-29 with total page 277 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Our most provocative scholar of American power” reveals the forces behind the assassination of JFK—and their continuing influence over our world (David Talbot, Salon). On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was gunned down in Dallas by Lee Harvey Oswald. Shortly after, Oswald himself was killed. These events led many to believe there was a far greater plan at work, with a secret cabal of powerful men manipulating the public and shaping US policies both at home and abroad for their own interests. But no one could imagine how right they were. Beneath the orderly façade of the American government, there lies a complex network, only partly structural, linking Wall Street influence, corrupt bureaucracy, and the military-industrial complex. Here lies the true power of the American empire. This behind-the-scenes web is unelected, unaccountable, and immune to popular resistance. Peter Dale Scott calls this entity the deep state, and he has made it his life’s work to write the history of those who manipulate our government from the shadows. Since the aftermath of World War II, the deep state’s power has grown unchecked, and nowhere has it been more apparent than that day at Dealey Plaza. In this landmark volume, Scott traces how culpable elements in the CIA and FBI helped prepare for the assassination, and how the deep state continues to influence our politics today. As timely and important as ever in the current chaotic political climate, Dallas ’63 is a reality-shattering, frightening exposé not of those who govern us—but of those who govern those who govern us.

Book excerpt: A two-time Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist’s investigation of the "deep state." Three-quarters of Americans believe that a group of unelected government and military officials secretly manipulate or direct national policy in the United States. President Trump blames the "deep state" for his impeachment. But what is the American "deep state" and does it really exist? To conservatives, the “deep state” is an ever-growing government bureaucracy, an "administrative state" that relentlessly encroaches on the individual rights of Americans. Liberals fear the "military-industrial complex"—a cabal of generals and defense contractors who they believe routinely push the country into endless wars. Every modern American president—from Carter to Trump—has engaged in power struggles with Congress, the CIA, and the FBI. Every CIA and FBI director has suspected White House aides of members of Congress of leaking secrets for political gain. Frustrated Americans increasingly distrust the politicians, unelected officials, and journalists who they believe unilaterally set the country’s political agenda. American democracy faces its biggest crisis of legitimacy in a half century. This sweeping exploration examines the CIA and FBI scandals of the past fifty years—from the Church Committee’s exposure of Cold War abuses, to Abscam, to false intelligence about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, to NSA mass surveillance revealed by Edward Snowden. It then investigates the claims and counterclaims of the Trump era, and the relentless spread of conspiracy theories online and on-air. While Trump says he is the victim of the "deep state," Democrats accuse the president and his allies of running a de facto "deep state" of their own that operates outside official government channels and smears rivals, both real and perceived. The feverish debate over the "deep state" raises core questions about the future of American democracy. Is it possible for career government officials to be politically neutral? Was Congress’s impeachment of Donald Trump conducted properly? How vast should the power of a president be? Based on dozens of interviews with career CIA operatives and FBI agents, In Deep answers whether the FBI, CIA, or politicians are protecting or abusing the public’s trust.

Download or read book The Deep State written by Ian Fitzgerald and published by Arcturus Publishing. This book was released on 2020-10-09 with total page 345 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Beneath the outward appearance of legitimate government and accountable officials there lurk hidden agendas, shadowy personalities and special interest groups seeking to seize control of the nation for their own ends. These 'states within a state', unfettered by legal norms and unworried by public opinion, are known as 'deep states'. In this fascinating account, Ian Fitzgerald examines what a deep state really is and how they have emerged in various places across the world and throughout history. Ranging from the police state of East Germany in the 1950s to the narco states of Latin America in the 1970s to the institutional corruption of 21st century Nigeria, he explores the many ways people have sought to seize the apparatus of power for themselves while remaining out of sight. Now the subject of modern conspiracy theories the world over as a worrying trend toward unelected power emerges, this book is more timely than ever, and helps separate fact from fiction. Looks at deep state conspiracies around the world, including: • the narco-states of Colombia and Mexico - where legitimate institutions have been corrupted by the power and wealth of the illegal drug trade • the illicit tax haven of Panama and the 2016 "Panama Papers", history's biggest data leak • the United Fruit Company's involvement in the 1954 coup d'état in Guatemala • the robber barons of the late 19th- and early 20th- century America • the role of intelligence services such as the CIA, FBI and NSA in the US deep state, at home and abroad • the extent to which social media sites such as Facebook influence voters

Book A Sense of Where You Are

Download or read book A Sense of Where You Are written by John McPhee and published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux (BYR). This book was released on 1999-06-30 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When John McPhee met Bill Bradley, both were at the beginning of their careers. A Sense of Where You Are, McPhee's first book, is about Bradley when he was the best basketball player Princeton had ever seen. McPhee delineates for the reader the training and techniques that made Bradley the extraordinary athlete he was, and this part of the book is a blueprint of superlative basketball. But athletic prowess alone would not explain Bradley's magnetism, which is in the quality of the man himself—his self-discipline, his rationality, and his sense of responsibility. Here is a portrait of Bradley as he was in college, before his time with the New York Knicks and his election to the U.S. Senate—a story that suggests the abundant beginnings of his professional careers in sport and politics.
